I could just purposely generate more terrain than I need, but for my overview of the map i would prefer if it was as symmetrical as possible because of my obessive compulsive nature :3
I WIIISSSHHH someone helps u out here !it would be awesome to limit maps since the grass and everything are by blocks it would be kool to set a limit of blocks height and length wise like 1280 x 600 :tongue.gif: or inpout custom numbers.
But yeah with the limitation on maps i could make doom stages and pokemon towns i would do it now but i want extreme control on the map size to reduce lag and i could make a whole lot of small medium size stages too. i would def make adventure maps with this.

There is a way to change the initial size of the map that Minecraft generates in SSP. The problem is that it's in Minecraft.class which I am not going to go poking about in. There are some other methods in other classes that deal with moving you around to look for valid spawn locations and one of those may can be modded to force the game to generate a larger starting map size.
As for my mod, I just finished writing the SMP version of it. It's untested right now, but I'm going to run it through some quick tests this evening, finish up addon support for a couple of other mods, and then do the massive write up for the new version and then post it. So, hopefully, you should be able to use BiomeTerrain in SMP tonight :smile.gif:
