He's a graphixxer.He'll return to playing MW2 shortly.
On Windows you type "%Appdata%" into the search files and click enter. and Once you've done that you go to .MineCraft Folder, goto the Bin Folder, Right click MineCraft and click Open with Winrar (Need to download if you dont have), once your in there you'll see the folder you need to delete.
To put textures in you'll need the texture thing and when you start minecraft you'll see Mods and Texture Packs, you'll drop that texture pack thing into their and once you exit that box you'll see that name in with the original textures, and click that, and play and your done...

So either restore from a backup (please tell me you made a backup....), or delete the "bin" folder, and the "version" file, and Minecraft should automatically be redownloaded from the server. Once you have Minecraft running again, start over, from the beginning, and try again. This time, be sure to be careful that you're doing it right. Find some thorough directions, and follow them explicitly, with no deviation whatsoever (as much as possible). Hope that helps. Mouser X over and out.

It's restored now....I can't find any directions on what to do?

Since its somewhat related to the topic at hand... I don't have a meta-INF folder anymore, I forget the last time I deleted it but recently when installing mods I've noticed I don't have one, and the mods've run without a problem either.
Not really complaining but the heck is that about?
I don't understand what the dude said about not playing in the browser....
If you play minecraft through your Internet browser, it won't work once you installed mods. If you play it through the .exe, you have nothing to worry about.

Thanks, but I can't find the .exe anywhere in my files.

Get it from the website. It's just what you use to launch the game in a client rather than the browser. If you log in with your account on minecraft.net, you can get it from the main page. Just click "download" instead of "in browser".

The whole META-INF folder?
Yes, you only have to delete 2 files but deleting the whole thing works.
Thanks, now what do I do with the mod files?
