I have adapted the mobs killer block to newest patch. But there's a problem: you have to wait for 303 to patch his ModLoader until you can use the mod.
Also, trying to adapt the grenade launcher, but Notch has made tricky names of the Vec3D.class variables and I am unable to bypass it yet.

Now I Can't Play Minecraft.
I Hate You So Much.
EDIT:
I Had The Delete The ENTIRE Minecraft.jar Folder.
It seems you did something wrong.
1. Grenade launcher is NOT working with both 1.2.3_01 and 1.2.3_02 updates.
2. Mobs killer block only worked with 1.2.3_01 and the newest update broke it.
3. ModLoader could not have been installed.
Yeah, i can make the MobKiller block, but it doesnt kill them.
Fixed. Version 1.2 released. The killer block is working with newest Minecraft update (1.2.3_04).
I am aware, that when destroyed, block isn't returned. Trying to fix this. Also I am also thinking of adding 5 different types of killer block for crafting with every type of swords. Wooden sword - 10 attack (same as cactus), stone sword - 50 attack, gold sword - 100 attack, iron sword - 500 attack and diamond sword - 1000 attack (this one already done). What do you think?
What is the possibility of making the redstone torches give just below the light level of regular torches? (Somewhere around 12 or so.)
Alternatively, maybe a properties file could be added?
I have to look more into the mod. Cause it's just giving a method 1.0F (brightest) value instead of 0.5F (the original redstone torch light value). I don't know what would "12" mean It depends on what is 1.0 and what is 0.5 for the lighting method (never bothered if they have normal values, like 20).

Anyway, does this version 1-shot any mob? That was my favorite feature :ohmy.gif:

Yeah, as far as I know, they somehow equate to normal values. These normal values equal the number of blocks the light reaches.

Well I gave it 0.85F (normal torch has 0.9375F value, portal has 0.75F, jack-o-lantern and lightsone have 1.0F) but it brakes my minecraft. I will have to test it on clear minecraft, but don't have time right now for playing with it. If you want I can give you the .class file for your own risk.

you should update the obsidian tools of IWannaWin while you're at it.
I updated mods that I used but they didn't get updated. Besides I think someone made a mod with obsidian and dragon(?) tools. You should check that.

Also for some reason the fist isn't creating for me?
Do you have 303's ModLoader and do you craft with exact recipe as in the op? I crafted two fists myself so I am sure it's working.

Alright, I think I figured it out. The normal light value is derived from the given values above when multiplied by 16 (F, although doesn't mean 16 in hex code, is the 16th value of a given set). This gives all integers. Torch is 15, portal 12, jack-o-lantern and lightstone 16. So I'd say a decent value would be 13 or 14, 0.8125F or 0.875F in the code's form, respectively.
how do i install this. and also why does it need to be a sword?
Follow this:

Windows:
1) Open up %appdata%, if you don't know how to do this, start>run, then type in %appdata%
2) Browse to .minecraft/bin
3) Open up minecraft.jar with WinRAR or 7zip.
4) Drag and drop the necessary files into the jar.
5) Delete the META-INF folder in the jar.
6) Run Minecraft, enjoy!
Macintosh:
1) Go to Applications>Utilities and open terminal.
2) Type in the following, line by line:
cd ~
mkdir mctmp
cd mctmp
jar xf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
3) Outside of terminal, copy the class files into the mctmp directory.
4) Back inside terminal, type in the following:
rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*
jar uf ~/Library/Application\ Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
cd ..
rm -rf mctmp
5) Run Minecraft, enjoy!
Also you need 303's ModLoader to make Mobs Killer Block work (I assume you want to install this mod). You can find it here: viewtopic.php?f=25&t=61032
And it's diamond sword, because it kills every enemy mob with one strike (mob steps on it and dies).
Also, trying to adapt the grenade launcher, but Notch has made tricky names of the Vec3D.class variables and I am unable to bypass it yet.

No, it doesn't need ModLoader. I am not experiencing your problem. Did you remove the META-INF folder from minecraft.jar after putting the mod?
Alternatively, maybe a properties file could be added?
