Thanks. Well, that's what I get for not reading inbetween the lines. DX
It's alright, it happens to all of us sometimes. A couple posts up someone remade mods of his mods, so you can look there for working versions. If it's Obsidian tools you're looking for though, check out Minecraft Advanced.
Edit in response: Go to your bin folder, and delete the Version file and everything in there. then run the launcher, and it should redownload everything for ya

Weird. Hm. Deleting the bin folder in .minecraft should have stopped that. Did the game download a new minecraft.jar when you connected it to the internet? If so, do you get the error when making and playing on a fresh, new world?

Old. All my worlds are filled up.
Ahhh, that might be the problem then. Go into your saves and rename World5 to something like World5backup. Then launch minecraft and make a new world there. See what happens.
I'm gonna try something new:
I renamed my .minecraft folder just 'Minecraft', and opened the MC launcher so it'd create a new '.minecraft' folder. Now, since it doesn't have a saves folder since it's a clean copy, i'm going to create a save, and since I have all my saves backed up, copy them over. Will I keep my saves on a clean copy of minecraft if I do this?

Literally 2 Posts above yours... READ IT.
Lazy people these days.... my god.
THREAD IS ALIVE NOW JUST ANSWER THE QUESTION
Is minecraft closed?
Download winRAR or 7zip.
Go to your minecraft folder.
Right click minecraft.jar and press open with, then select winRAR or 7zip.
Then open up the mod you downloaded, and drag and drop the files into the open minecraft.jar folder.
Is it just not updated?

It's alright, it happens to all of us sometimes. A couple posts up someone remade mods of his mods, so you can look there for working versions. If it's Obsidian tools you're looking for though, check out Minecraft Advanced.
Edit in response: Go to your bin folder, and delete the Version file and everything in there. then run the launcher, and it should redownload everything for ya

Thanks. Well, that's what I get for not reading inbetween the lines. DX[/quote]

I deleted the bin folder, tried again, same thing stil happens. :\
Weird. Hm. Deleting the bin folder in .minecraft should have stopped that. Did the game download a new minecraft.jar when you connected it to the internet? If so, do you get the error when making and playing on a fresh, new world?
Are you loading an old world or a new one?
Ahhh, that might be the problem then. Go into your saves and rename World5 to something like World5backup. Then launch minecraft and make a new world there. See what happens.
