SkyMod is a Minecraft client mod that was originally made to remove most stuff in the sky and enable lighting on everything despite the time. It has evolved [in a day, mind you] to using a menu for configuration (instead of manually changing it) with other additions.
Cloud removal is included because those damn pesky clouds hide mah base!
Currently, the one thing I mainly made this for doesn't work! Haha, who would've known! I'm still working on it, and actually had it once, but it lit everything including the menus so it wasn't practical at all :wink.gif:
[*:2fy97xm2]Locate your minecraft.jar file. On Windows 7, it's at : C:\Users\You\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
[*:2fy97xm2]Open it in a zip utility such as WinRar.
[*:2fy97xm2]Copy all of the files from the SkyMod.jar file (Open it in WinRar or equivilent) to the minecraft.jar file
[*:2fy97xm2]DO NOT SKIP: Open the META-INF folder in the minecraft.jar file and delete MOJANG_C.DSA and MOJANG_C.SF
Removing the mod
The easiest way I find is to delete the version file in the bin folder for minecraft and then restart minecraft. It will redownload everything to the defaults.
Oh yeah, when using this you may want to lock your doors at night. It's when things get scary. PS: I'm not responsible for any side effects such as skeletons dueling each other
Changelogs 1.2
[*:2fy97xm2]1.2.0_02 compatible
[*:2fy97xm2]Config can now be saved by pressing Save config in the options. It auto loads on startup (saved to .minecraft)
[*:2fy97xm2]Removed: God Mode, Creeper Spawners, Creepers Explode, Mobs riding buddyback
[*:2fy97xm2]most of what was removed will be added back, soon. I said I'd get it out today, so I didn't have time to fix new problems that arised in for example mobs riding other mobs.
[*:2fy97xm2]New config page added - Difficulty Tuner
[*:2fy97xm2]Only one "Difficulty Tuner" at the moment, more to come !. Creepers have Nikes: Creepers run 2x as fast as they did before
[*:2fy97xm2]Speed modifier is now "xValue", not "Value%". Ranges from x1->x10
1.1
[*:2fy97xm2]SpooOOOoOky Halloweenish hidden feature. Hint: Lock your doors at night, for real
[*:2fy97xm2]Time! Regular time, Always Night, Always day!
[*:2fy97xm2]Speed modifier! 0-100%!
[*:2fy97xm2]Suicide button. Cut the middleman, die instantly! (you still lose items. disabled on multiplayer (pointless))
[*:2fy97xm2]Creeper spawners!
each time I click back to game I return to the menu xD
is that supposed to happen?
Hm, I'm so used to using Esc to unpause I didn't notice! I just uploaded a fixed version - it's still 1.00

Would it be possible to make it so you cant get pushed by mobs or knocked back by enemies damaging you?
Of course :wink.gif:. I'll look into it later on (Only here for a few more seconds).

what is God Mode?
You can't die. It'd include never dying weapons/ammo, too but I haven't gotten around to it
Include tools and I will love you forever in a completely platonic and totally manly way.
As betterspud said, you can just use InvEdit. I already have the file that does it inside my editor so I'll probably end up doing it anyway later on :3
Whilst god mode is on, blocks wont run out meaning: if you have, lets say 10, dirt blocks and you place 1, the amount you have won't deplete.
Speed increaser - in the SkyMod menu there will be a Speed slider which speeds up the the speed of you (or the game possibly?) by a percentage: 2%/5%/8%/10%.

Flight mode - turn it on and you can flyyyy
Love the mod, its awesome.
I like the idea of the speed increaser. I was actually trying to find out where NPC speeds were because I was going to do some sort of a "hardcore" mode - more npcs spawn, and they move at twice the speed! I know I wouldn't want to be the one outside with a creeper chasing me!

I don't remember saying that :ohmy.gif:
don't you mean betterspud? xD
Yes, I had edited it but my edits aren't going through half the time.. I guess it's because of an extension I have for chrome D:
edit: Bahaha, I found something that when you jump it makes it look as if there's an earthquake going on. Interesting!

HUGS! Finally they'll be sad no more.
They seemed rather anxious to push me off the cliff, though. v.v

I prefer Loleditor for this. But it does get tiresome after a while having to reset it. My biggest map is 300 mb I think, maybe a little more.
Carry on, gentlemen.
Some one post a screen shot.
