All seems to be working well! The import app could be a little more intuitive, but other then that a great mod. Do you by chance know of any mapper that supports/plans to support the .mcworld format?
Good to hear that all is well :smile.gif: I do plan to make a new import/export app that's simpler and easier to use, its one of the next things on my list. I don't know of any mapper that plans to support this, however if there is a mapper program that is written in java it would be very easy for the developer to integrate. I don't actually know of any java mapper programs, but there may be one out there. If I had more free time I wouldn't mind trying to make one myself.
There is a bug in MCFS. The pressure plates dont open the door when you stand on it and if the door is open it will close when you activate the plate.
Hmm, I looked into this and was able to reproduce the problem. However, I am completely baffled as to why this is happening because the files I modified shouldn't have anything to do with the doors. I'll try to figure it out and fix it when I get time though, its been difficult integrating MCFS into this version of minecraft due to the changes Notch has made.
Will this work for saving my world file on my Mac so I can play this at the school Pcs? And is it compatible with Minecraft Portable?
Seems like a good idea.
I have not tried it on a Mac, however I don't see why it wouldn't work. Give it a try and let me know how it works :biggrin.gif: And yes, minecraft portable has a MCFS version, see this topic:viewtopic.php?t=40225 However, I believe that minecraft portable is a windows only application, so you would have to install MCFS manually on Mac.
Is there a way to make this compatible with InvEdit? If not, how may I uninstall MCFS?
Not unless the InvEdit developer changed it to work with this. To uninstall MCFS, just delete your minecraft.jar and it will be redownloaded when you start minecraft. To get your world out of the container, use the MCFS Tools from the version of MCFS you were using to export the world to regular minecraft format. Older versions of MCFS Tools are included in the latest download.
Heh, I installed quite a few mods along with MCFS. Won't I have to reinstall them? Is there a way to just remove MCFS?
Well in that case, you can backup your minecraft.jar somewhere else, redownload a new copy of minecraft.jar, and move the cu.class and mi.class files from the downloaded one to the one you backed up, and then delete the downloaded one and restore your backup.
Hi I have applied the mcfs v0.5 Patch to my minecraft.jar and I beleive I have imported my world into .mcworld format correctly although I did find that hard to work out so there may be a problem there (I wasent sure where it was importing to? so I created a blank world3.mcworld and imported my world3 folder and set the .dat to the one in my world 3 folder as well) anyway it now shows world three when I load minecraft however when I click on it it pauses for a while then gives the following error.. any help would be great as id love to get this working for my usb drive.
Thanks

Blegh, looks like notch has released a new version of minecraft. I will have to reintegrate MCFS into Minecraft again so that it will work with the new version. Il do it later tonight after work. Check back in a bit :smile.gif:
Hi that does work better :smile.gif: and I think ive worked out the import tool :biggrin.gif: but one slight problem it seams to be removing the integral part of my map... half my house (that has half of my stuff in box's) is gone when i load it up :S other than that the map is all intact any idea's? also the map around the house seems to be fine...
Either I'm dense (quite possible) or the world import tool isn't working for me. I run the import on my World3 folder, and after a short wait it says it was successful... but I can't find the World3.mcworld file anywhere. I'm assuming it *should* be in the same folder as the import tool, yes?

hmm, this is very strange. I can only assume for some reason it missing the import of that one block. The import function still need more testing I guess, I will look into it and see if I cant figure it out.

You need to select a output path for the .mcworld file. The top text box is the output path and the bottom is the folder your importing from. I guess I should just change it to one text box and have the world saved in the same directory you import from. Il look into trying to make it less confusing. :smile.gif:
far as I know (unless Im doing it wrong) you need to specify it in the mcfs path... when I do thats where it ends up for me :smile.gif:. So enter in the mcfs path you want (including the .mcworld extention) and enter the path to your world folder and then click import to mcfs :smile.gif: hope that helps

I can't seem to find anything wrong with the import function without something to test it on, I don't guess you would be willing / able to send me your world in some way? If you are, can you put it in a .zip and upload it to mediafire.com and PM me the link? Would be a great help :smile.gif:
