Pardon me, perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I've installed More Stackables then Better Food and they work fine together for the most part, except it won't stack minecarts. Things like doors and boats are fine, but it just won't stack minecarts in any given quantity (greater than one).
BetterFood edits px.class file as thats the file that controls the base Food object. Minecarts are handled by kq.class file. So you must not have drug it to your minecraft.jar by mistake. Reinstall that file from Risugamis mod and you should be fine.
-edit-
The AUTOCART mod edits kq.class. Do you have that mod installed? As a general rule mods will only conflict with each other if they attempt to edit the same file. Whichever mod is installed last is the one that will have its changes applied to the game when this happens as you just overwrote the other mods changes. Keep this in mind and pay attention to which files are edited by any mod. This is why i try to list the files in the OP. Check out 303's mod thread as he has taken the time to do merges for a lot of mods that would otherwise conflict with each other.
Turns out I just goofed and managed to exclude the minecart class when I was extracting More Stackables in the first place. Way to go, me. Thanks for the expedient and detailed response. :smile.gif:
NOTE: this was compiled on a vanilla minecraft install with only obsidians tools v2.0 installed. Shouldnt have any conflicts but i havent compiled against anyones Mod Loader other than Risus official release.
Hey Seronis. I found a bug and I dont know if its because of more stackables or the better food mod (yes I did install better food last) but when I was exploring the nether I got alot of mushrooms and made 4 mushroom soups. So I put all 4 in one slot on the hot bar and right clicked once to eat one but I didn't get healed and I now had 3 empty bowls in the hotbar. I think the nether's sounds got to my character, spilled all the soup which immediately evaporated on impact of the bloodstone and ate a bowl from the madness. :tongue.gif:
Ohh i'll have to look into that. I know its gonna be a mix of how the two interact as mushroom soup is a unique food in that it creates another object when used and neither me or risugami has that taken into account. Not sure if i can fix that without editing addition files. Until i find a fix just dont use soup bowls when stacked. Thanks for the bug report and i'll post that info in the OP.
@Blue
You did install the Chainmail Repair addon file right? Ability to repair chainmail with chain rings is a SEPERATE file so that people wanting to use tool repair on standard items dont have to install the chainmail mod. Only the addon file has the chainmail mod as a prerequisite.
As stated in the original post 2 pieces of armor (helmet / boots) only require 2 resources to repair and they must be placed vertically above the armor. 2 pieces of armor (greives / cuirass ) require 3 resources to repair and the 3 pieces must be placed filling one row, with the armor to be repaired in the middle column on the row below the repair materials. Unless i messed the recipe up but its gonna be one of those two patterns =-)
That aside I have never messed up a shovel or a hoe in my life by any means other than breaking the handle. Would anyone object to me making the repair material for those two tool types (of all materials) to be 2 sticks placed above the object to be repaired? Its a logical change, but anyone think it would be too much of a cheat to have as a standard feature ?

nvm.. i'll just make handle repair another optional add-on file
BetterFowl updated. All templates are adjustable in oh_type.java. Source of both files provided for ease of modding. See other threads to learn how to set up your modding environment if you dont know how.
This one does. Only thing stripped from my local copy is chicken meat on death as its a custom object. But the oh_type file is able to select any object you want for eeach of the various drops. Pluck / Death / Lay. I was thinking about having a chicken that could lay golden eggs but i dont have a texture that looks like a Goose =-)
-edit-
I am gonna write up a config loading option so you dont require a recompile to customize. And technically you can customize sounds too right now except that requires the AudioMod to be installed. Oh skeleton chickens are rare but you pluck arrows, they lay coal as eggs and release redstone on death. The other thing i didnt mention was that plucking a bird has a chance to scare them into laying their egg early.

Make the tool repair mod compatible with Obsidian Tools, please :biggrin.gif:
Didnt i just do that ? Like 2 posts ago ?
How do I repair boots and greaves to.
What's up with that?
Hm, works on my end. You're placing two rings above each piece of armor, right? Try reinstalling the Chainmail Repair mod if it isn't working.
