Hmm, is it possible to add a way to differentiate the arrows in the arrow mod? Maybe (if possible) using particle effects or texture packs? Also, you should have a donate button, until then
In the first page somebody asked that, and that IS possible, however it will contradict with texture packs, so no.
Other than that, I am glad to see that we have a group of submissions that are not texture packs.
All the arrows are taken from block 37 in the sprite "gui/items" (The arrow picture)
If you try changing them to an un-used block they just appear invisible..
It seems they are pre-defined when the game loads of something.

could be packaged with a modified items.png (I would prefer this)
Yeah, explosive should have a red head :smile.gif:
And ice a blue head, and fire a fully red arrow =)
Yes, you could replace the textures of other un-used items like apples and quiver to the different arrows and then set those to each arrow respectively.
Risugami has updated the Elemental Arrows. New features include custom items images, embedded arrows will be picked up as correct arrows, and better target management. Enjoy!
