I would like to use this, but get the same problem with the browser version. Using the offline client it works fine, but the online version goes to a black screen after the "updating" screen. I waited until all the craziness had calmed down and the site was back up with sound and all to try this out, but it seems that wasn't the problem.

At the moment it doesn't work with snow because I couldn't work out how snow works but I think Ive got it now so I'll do a new version in the next few days.
The cave textures thing for smoothstone... its awkward. I ~could~ make it work, (and I wouldn't necessarily need to touch the diamond block texture slots to do it, there are enough "free" texture spots), but whichever way you did it what it'd mean then is that there'd be a whole bunch of texture packs that were broken by it, (or at least, looked really wierd). Wheras this fits with any textures that are out there. I kind of want to work within the boundaries of what works for everyone.
This...this is the best mod. I look forward to seeing how snow turns out, it should really make winter worlds look more impressive without bits of snowless grass peeking out from every edge

well i know there are pleanty of people that would update their texture packs just for that and id personally owe you heh. useing some of the "free slots" would be great
Can you implement a similar tweak to raw wood blocks?
If bottom of a wood block is touching air give it the bark texture. I frown when looking up at a super tree with branches and seeing the cut wood texture.
Hey Messiah! I haven't looked myself and can't be arsed, but would it be possible to make the grass textures update, instead of only being applied once? Like If I trash a grass block, with grass on the side, there's no longer grass on the side? Maybe make it grow back like on the top?

Something wierd going on there as it seems to be complaining it can't find ly.class - are you sure you didn't delete something accidentally? I would delete minecraft.jar and start again, there.
