4 million blocks is small change. For stress-testing, I copy the 64-megablock Shadowmarch Castle which takes nearly five minutes. I'll make it faster soon, I swear!
HA! finally got it to work. The first time it ended up loading my map underground, so I think I imported it twice before I actually found my world. I have to say getting to explore the world I knew and loved for the entire time I played indev as an underground super cave was really awesome. Next I tried to crate a black infdev map and load it in but quickly found out that it couldn't load into chunks that don't exist. I decided to stop screwing around and copied world1 and threw it into the ocean out side of my house. It almost fit without carving out the land and its sea level was only one block lower then my normal sea level.
I used to think my indev map was enormous but exploring it once again in infdev I find it rather small. If it didn't look so un-natural I would consider living in my old castle again. The island is still surrounded by adminium and it's been more or less picked clean so there isn't much of a point. Plus my building techniques have gotten better.
