Well, I've been quite some time without an update. I've changed almost everything now, with varying degrees of quality. Still have some work to do. All the new updates are supported - doors and signs work properly and have items, obsidian has been retextured to something that's a bit more like obsidian instead of purple chunky rock, buckets have been added and tweaked to be less like sloshy metal cups and more like actual buckets. I can't show everything in screenshots, because that would take far too much running around in infdev for now. Maybe later. I've done lots of little tweaks, such as making flame particles less red.
I finally found something I like with cobblestone:

Added tracks and the cart item. I haven't yet been able to check to see if the cart item is located properly in the image, seeing as it's placed kind of randomly. Download
I don't have the time, and I won't for a little while. Just threw something together in a few minutes, so my brand new version wouldn't be unusable already. Toodles.
I was excited when I saw that ice used partial transparency, then disappointed when I found that it doesn't work on glass blocks. New version coming soon, with snowy areas galore.
I'm debating going up to 32*32. I want to retain the pixel art style, but I must admit 32*32 does look good.
This is my favorite texture pack. I don't much care for the look of high resolution textures in Minecraft, so if you make it 32x32 I hope you'll continue to update the low res version as well?
Finally! I love the cactus texture. There are a few problems in the latest release though:
-Track textures are lacking transparency between/around the rails.
-particles.png is lacking the water spray texture shown when boating or jumping in the water.
-Minecraft crashes when you open the inventory because of gui/items.PNG. Renaming it to items.png fixes this issue.
Hmmm. Something went wrong, then. Those problems shouldn't be there. (Except for the rail, I think that might have been that way for a while. Thanks.) I'll fix them.
Edit: The splash particles are there. I wonder if Notch removed partial transparency from them, so they're completely transparent.
Edit #2: Ahh, Notch switched to new, smaller particles. I hadn't realized.
New version. Updated to the current Alpha version with slimes, clay, bricks, papyrus reeds, etc. Also, I finally got around to properly redoing doors, and I made the color of gold items consistent; tools are no longer brownish and ingots are no longer greenish. Plus a few other miscellaneous tweaks.
Though the pack is a bit too gloomy for my own use, I have to say you're keeping to it very well, with constant updates and a keen ear turned towards those who use your pack. Keep up the good work!
I've been rather busy with school and college applications and whatnot, but I plan to update this when the Halloween update is released. I know I'm going to want to play it then, and I won't play with default textures. I've been thinking a bit about what I want to do with the netherworld.
you seem to have removed the cartoony, circular bomb (TNT alternative) I was hoping to download from this pack.
i can't find one like it elsewhere. Could you reupload it or just post the bomb's texture independently (it's all I actually want; I'm constructing a personal texture pack).

Updated to support all the recent game additions.
A test of higher resolution items:
Doesn't work too well, as you can see. The voxel sprites don't support anything above the default item resolution. I am not pleased.
