Game of Life
Is it possible to create a cellular automaton (such as Game of Life) in MC with enough scripting?
EDIT: I just realized that it already exists for sand, gravel, water, and lava, and that some people have scripted realistic sand, which is essentially a cellular automaton in 3 dimensions. However, I'm thinking about more extensive, unrealistic, and synchronized cellular automaton.

it will be cool for mob , mushroom and plant. One thing that should be cool will be lava in contact with Air (not in cave but in surface ) dry (become rock) after 10-20 sec and had finite physic . (For create volcano ) :biggrin.gif:
and fluid will have a finite - infinite system , like finite with gravity ( it fall ) and when it come to the ground , it will create a lake , it will fill the level and when it filled , it will fill the other level , like real water . But for fill the level , the water will be infinite . (this is my idea)
