Hello everyone! I know that what i have to ask is a pretty big deal, asking for a huge mod to be updated. I would be extremely thankful if you would do it, or maybe teach us how to do it ourselves. I also understand if you won't/can't.

FlowerChild has no intentions of updating it anytime soon, at least to 1.7.2 (which is the version i would like it updated to).
Also if forge compatibility (not using forge just making it so that forge can run along side) could be added, that would be simply amazing!!
Forge compatibility, simply put, is impossible. Better than wolves changes almost all of Minecraft's base classes, which screws Forge entirely.
As to an update, the source would be necessary for such an enormous mod, which FlowerChild is highly unlikely to give. On the other hand, FlowerChild is probably not updating to 1.7.2 because it is an unstable version of Minecraft altogether. Once MCP comes out for 1.7.9, BTW may be updated to that version.
I want to have only the solid hair feature of that put into a mod so that it doesnt conflict whit my OHTER liteloader player model mod..
While it is impossible to make two custom player model mods work together, you could ask for the solid hair feature to be added to the litemod that you referred to. Most of the litemod devs seem fairly open to suggestions, and that seems like a fairly simple one.
Wouldn't it be better for you to learn how to update it yourself? I don't mean to sound irreverent, but learning how to code in the new gradle format opens up a lot more possibilities in terms of modmaking, and would allow you to update and create other mods for 1.7.2.
That said, it might be best to wait for a stable 1.7.X Forge to be released...1.7.2 is just riddled with bugs...

hey I have a whole list of mods that I want to make into a mod pack. But they are out of date and may conflict. If you have no trouble with over 60 mods then I'll send you a list of them. If not then I'll just name a few.

I noticed that quite a while ago, the mod Skyrimcraft made by madcrazydrumma had gone dormant. Please, for the love of Talos and all he holds holy, make this mod breath the air of life once again! I will help with the items and possibly the GUIs. I have skill with modding and have taken 2 java courses along with Objective C for Mac.
Can you do cameracraft or the camera mod or whatever it is called for 1.7.2?
Someone took over updating IFP to 1.6.4, and they are now working on a 1.7.2 port as well.
As to cameracraft (depending on what mod you're talking about), the original modmaker may be working on a version for 1.7.
can you update GLSL Shaders Mod to 1.7.9?
I miss having the shaders
While it is possible to manually install Shaders into a 1.7.9 profile, I would recommend waiting until Forge updates to 1.7.X before worrying about Shaders.
Also, it's rather stupid to come here asking for an update to a mod when the original mod author is actively working on updates as we speak...
Could you update ee2 to 1.7.2, I know that ee3 is already released for 1.7.2 but in ee3 there is pretty much nothing, no condensers rings and so on. And also i miss the old ee2.
And EE2/EE3 is? I'm going to go off of the assumption that you're referring to Equivalent Exchange, in which case the updated version is only an early Alpha. More features will be added, given time.
There's already a replacement for that in both versions. See here.

Sorry, got you the wrong link from my bookmarks. Guess that's what I get for rushing through a post to work on my modpack...here's the actual link. No, it isn't an exact replica of "Finite Liquids," but it gets the job done. Some mods just aren't going to update in their exact state, and that's one of them.

No, I checked the MC Forum for CameraCraft. The creator does not seem to be working on it, as it is still for 1.4.7 and it says no where that the creator will work on updating.

The author is in-fact still working on the mod. I'm still in contact with him, so I should know. Also, if you look hard enough, you'll see it is in-fact updated to 1.6. (CameraCraft-3)
You know, I had a thread like this once, it never really took off like this thread. So, I congratulate you on becoming some-what popular.

When live give you lemons, make apple pie.
Unless you want it remade as a small mod that only adds the items, not the horses themselves.
Timeless Modding is kinda dead but idk what to put here now
I occasionally make textures/models for random people. Contributed to: Tinker's Construct, Growthcraft, and Animals+
PixelQuest 2, my new 1.10 RPG/rougelike-inspired modpack, is coming soon!
