When I wear the boots item, the armor is rendering the boots only which is what I want, but when I wear the legs item, the armor is rendering the boots and chest, not legs only.
The armor is rendering correctly when the appropriate items are worn but the last problem is that when I wear the legs item, the armor renders the leg and chest, not render leg only as it's supposed to be. Updated Armor and Model class
That fixed the legs item chest rendering, but when I wear the chest item, the chest is not rendered, only the arms are being rendered. My guess is that maybe the legs and chest are connected somehow such that when you put on the legs item, the chest and legs will be rendered. But when you try to separate the chest and legs models, when the chest item is worn, only the arms model will be rendered, not the arms and chest models rendered together. This really sucks. *sighs* Updated Armor and Model class
And I can double confirm it worked. Thank you EtsyTheDragon so much for helping with my 3D armor, from the start to the end. And what were you saying something about that if I was planning to create more 3D armors, what did I have to do in my model class? Your comment about it.
Oh hey, it appears the rendering isn't really solved at all, when I crouch, the game creates 2 models. Image attached shows it and most importantly, updated armor and model class
There's another rendering problem, the armor does not render properly with the steve and alex models. Images attached, code here.
Edit #1: The head model only faces the south direction (the opposite direction of the player's facing) when placed on the armor stand. On the player it's fine. The problem only occurs on the armor stand only
I know my thread is 4 months old but I've managed to solved the problems of custom armor, apparently, i do not need to re-create the head, body, arms and legs, i just needed to create the additional parts and add them as child of the main body parts, arms, head, legs etc

This part:
Rename the modelJayGarrick2 to model, otherwise, it completely defeats the purpose of what we've done.

I see. Interesting... Try adding this:
Then this in your getArmorModel:
Then in your ModelJayGarrick2 change this:
to this:

Omg, I'm a clutz forgot to pass the render through *DERP*. Here anyways change this:
To this:
EDIT: I just tested this, so I can confirm this works!

Don't worry about it. Glad I could help! Now if everything is working you may want to consider adding a solved or resolved tag.

Oh herro dere, get rid of this:

Just get instanceof the armorstand and rotate the head appropriately. It isn't too hard I think you can do it. If you don't know how msg back.
Where do I put the instanceof armor stand??
Bump?
