Hello darkness, my old friend I've come to talk with you again because a vision softly creeping left its seeds while I was sleeping and the vision that was planted in my brain still remains within the sound of silence

Head developer for the CivilMagicks former developer for runix
Apparently I'm a horrible person for telling people the the truth. If telling people that MCreater and programs like it are crap and used by lazy people unwilling to learn java then I'm a horrible person and I'm ok with it
Nope it crashes again, i did it without public on another mod and it worked.

Strange on the error message you seem to have a problem at line 75 of your main class, but the file you posted only has 65, did you suppress some lines since that error message.
That message seems to say that a name is null
Why don't you put a breakpoint at the load method and run in debug to see what happens and gives you a null pointer.
I have loaded you code in Eclipse to check, but except then fact that the tab, block and item class are missing there seem to have no problem.

How would I add a breakpoint? I don't really know how to code in java very much..

Just a question, you never debug your code before compiling and testing it in game?
I'm a new coder and just followed along in the videos :l

If you don't, use Eclipse to code, it gives you hints and shows errors and warnings.
But you also can run you game in Eclipse without having to recompile reobfuscate, transfer in game and try to figure it out why it crashes.
Just a button to press and you run you code in game, that's easy.
You can also put a breakpoint in a code line and when the game reaches that line it hangs, you return in Eclipse and you can advance you code line by line to see what happens. Check the variable and see when you reach the line that make the game crash.
In that way you can avoid 90% of the most stupid errors we all make when coding.

I found out what was wrong.
I accidentally had 2 hoes instead of a sword... I'm questioning why I didn't notice.

Yet the code on PasteBin code contains a total of 65 lines. Could you please identify line 75?

Are you using the same version for mod an game, if your forge version is not the same in game and in the editor sources it maybe the cause.
