So i'm pretty new to modding. I haven't had a chance to do anything for 1.3.1 yet, but i can't stand Too MAny Items compared to Not Enough Items. The added recipe and search functions are pretty legit.
So in my quest for NEI 1.3.1 i have the following error:
java.lang.VerifyError: (class: mod_NotEnoughItems, method: getCreativeItemList signature: ()Ljava/util/ArrayList;) Incompatible argument to function

and here is the code it is referring to:
public static ArrayList<ItemStack> getCreativeItemList()
{
return (ArrayList<ItemStack>) new ContainerCreative(ModLoader.getMinecraftInstance().thePlayer).itemList;
}
Anyone know what kindof changes have occurred that would cause a problem with the arraylist?

The only thing that I could think of is that the container's itemList isn't an ArrayList, but either a List or one of it's subclasses.

The answer (I believe) is that the constructor for the creative inventory has changed because of the new layout in 1.3. Before it was a list of items, now it is completely different. I have not looked at the 1.3 code myself, so i do not know the solution.

Hey, I have been having this crash report which I think is due to NEI, the title screen loads successfully but when I create or join one of my singleplayer worlds, it crashes.
Here is the crash report:

have you tried to download too many items and make TMI the legs, and mod from that, like from too many items, add recipes, add SUBsets or is that what you've done?
I don't even think the mod has been updated to 1.3.(1/2)... If so then where did you get it? The forum for it states its only 1.2.5, which may be your problem.
i think hes trying to mod his version of it for 1.3.2...
Had you read the topic before posting, you would already know the updated mod is for 1.3.2, and not 1.3.1
And that, my friends, is the end all.
