Pretty sure d, d1 and d2 are for the position but what about 3 4 and 5? Can someone enlighten me on how to master particle so that i can make them do basically whatever i want?

d3 d4 and d5 are velocity. so you can makes them move in a certain direction. you can experiment with the blocktorch class and modify those values to get familiar with the function.

From what I've done with them they are color of particles... the velocity and gravity are pre defined in the particle classes
“Computers are incredibly fast, accurate and stupid; humans are incredibly slow, inaccurate and brilliant; together they are powerful beyond imagination."
It is all as far as I know. I used to think that the last 3 were colours as well so I tried to change the flame to another colour, but it just changed the velocity of it.

The last 3 variables are like damage value for items. Some use them to decide the items durability bar (tools), and some use them to decide what color to be (dyes). Most particle effects uses the last 3 variables for velocity, but some use it to specify the color of the particle.
Alright- well I was wrong with the smoke particles still- so sorry about that guys

Is that just specific to the smokeFx? I've used the values in a cos functioin to create changing particle colors in other particles
