I want to make something only generate in desert biomes, so how would I figure out if it is a desert biome or not?
OT: Chrome says biome isn't a word.
biome isn't a real word. and you need to find a line of code (in either ChunkProviderGenerate, or BiomeDecorator) that sets up biomes (can't remember where). then look at the biome classes and find the name of the desert one, it's probably just desert.

if(currentbiome.desert == biome.desert) {generate}I can't remember where notch uses it or what the true syntax is, but it is quite doable.
