Not quite. The actual error is "<identifier> expected", the line below is where it happened. As for the actual error, I believe you need to put parens around the object's creation like:
"public static final ItemAlligatorMeat = (new ItemFood(133, 3, true)).setItemName("");"
uuum just wondering are you editing this all in a text editors then cudios to you. but I would recommend you get an IDE like eclipse. you can compile the code on the spot and have data spew into the debug. learn how to use the debug it will become your best friend. :smile.gif:
