Hello. I wanted to play with friends a modpack on 1.12.2 minecraft but one of my friends doesn't like stuff like technic launcher or that twitch thing. so i wanted to ask how he can play a modpack without stuff like twitch and technic launcher?
Download minecraft forge for whatever version you want from http://files.minecraftforge.net/, get the installer, choose to install client, then find the .minecraft folder and create a called "mods", then once you've done that put any .jar files for mods that are compatible with the version you chose for forge and run the the forge game version in the launcher.
