Lets ring in the Season with one of my newest modpacks for Minecraft version 1.12.2. This modpack is a Curse exclusive. It will not be distributed across any other platforms. So what is it? Pokemon Sword and Shield has been announed. A huge addition to the Core Pokemon franchise. So lets celebrate with a fan made Minecraft pack! This Modpack is built around the newest version of Pixelmon - Reforged (you must download it separatley and place it in the mods folder, like you would opti-fine or anything like that - https://reforged.gg/).
Welcome to the World of Pixelated Creatures! PokéCraft Reforged - Catch 'Em All - is a modpack that focuses on adventure and exploration, and survival....with friendly (or not so friendly) little creatures by your side. Upon logging in you will select your starter, and you will be on your way to adventure with your new pal.
(Press CTRL + O to hide JEI to select your starter)
While you embark on your journey you will come across other Pokemon that you can battle and attempt to catch. You must be careful as you may find some trainer's lurking as well. You can bet that some may want to partake in a battle. Pokemon have been around since ancient times, even prior to the Great Pokemon War. Some say they were guardians of old kings and lords. Partners to some of the greatest wielders of Magic. Some of that Magic has been carried forward.
Venture through the world and collect your Pokemon, and your gym badges, master Magical Arts to help fight those that your partner can't. Go forth and build your own awesome Pokemon Headquarters. Conquer the challenges you may face, catch the Legendary Monsters that roam the world. Most of all, enjoy your self!
This is a rebirthing of my original Poke Craft modpack which was pretty popular but ultimately I built in on a version of Minecraft which many in the community know may not have been the best choice, a mistake I own. But this is built on the solid 1.12.2. One of the neat things about this pack is there are emphasis on decorative mods so you can truely build what you imagine. Your own Pokemon empire, your own Gym, whatever you may want, go crazy!
This modpack does not do away with original Vanilla. You still have to deal with the dangers of the night (in some cases it may be more dangerous to keep you on your toes), and you still have to survive and you still have to craft, although a starter house is provided for you. The essence of Minecraft is still here. Yes, as of now this is somewhat server compatiable. I plan to work on that as well and create a server pack for you as well. Furthermore, this modpack has Immersive Engineering and Immersive Railroading built into it. (Can anyone say The Magnet Train?) So there is plenty to do in between your quest to become the very best that no-one ever was!
Please do leave constructive feedback and criticism. I appreciate it all.

This is the 1.0.0-BETA release. I say Beta because there are still some scripts that need to be made, some loot tables that need to be tweaked and some mods are still coming in and out. v 1.0.6
- Added Refined Storage
- Added Mr. Crayfish Furniture Mod
- Added Wizardry
- Added the "Exchange" Questline which allows you to exchange the coins mobs drop for PokeDollars.
- Added a branch quest to "Currency is a Thing?" to teach the player how to convert their coins to the next tier of coin (I.E. Silver Coin ---> Gold Coin)
- Updated Scripts
--Author Notes--
I was on the fence about this update mainly because it added two huge mods, Refined Storage and Wizadry. I want this pack to remain Pixelmon focused which I feel it does a good job of. Adding Refined Storage I don't think upset the balance too much because even while I am playing the pack I get frustrated with the "lack" of inventory managment. MetalChests are great but there really was no was to "organize" your items in this pack. No way of storing "mass quantities" of items. So that is why I opted for Refined Storage. It is a sleek mod and doesn't go too overboard in my opinion.
Secondly, the Wizadry mod was the biggest part of the update that I almost removed. It may still be removed since it is still in some heavy development. However, the reason I opted to add Wizadry is because this Modpack has great survival options. Psi is excellent but I felt that some players might want a different type of power to assist them in their adventure. Alternate types of abilities. Not necessarly having to "program" their spells. Survival is a real aspect of this pack and on servers some players may opt for PvP, so I want them to have options. Furthermore, this modpack takes the era of "AZ" and modernizes it. For those who don't know who "AZ" is check him out. That is why this pack contains some light "magical" aspects.
That being said, I hope you enjoy this update and do please leave some criticism in the comments. I am truly interested in what people have to say about this pack. Side note, MrCrayfish was added because more furniture is not really a bad thing and it isn't that heavy in my honest opinion, however it is locked behind a Quest Line.
I can't figure out how to proceed with getting started making poke balls in this pack. Adding immersive engineering is nice but reworking them to only use the steel from that mod is near impossible to do. Any ideas to fix this problem that I'm missing I'd love to hear but literally every steel ingot I smelt turns into the wrong one needed to make healers, pc, and anvil for that matter. Like I said its a great mod but a bit much to do such simple things as having a healer or pc or way of making pokeballs.

I gotcha. It seems varied commodities added its own steel which is the wrong type of steel (and I missed that when going through the mod). I will fix that now and remove the steel recipe from varied commodities. The only steel should be the one from Immersive Engineering. As immersive engineering steel also take much longer to make I will reduce the cost of the Pixelmon Anvil which will allow the crafting of basic Pokeballs to start sooner.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention. I will upload the fix tonight.
And as compensation for those players who have been making the varied commodities steel I will create a Repeatable Quest that will allow you to exchange those for the Immersive Engineering Steel on a 1:1 ratio.

v 1.0.8
- LycanitesMobs Added - ***DEFAULT IS DISABLED***
- Added SwitchBow mod (mainly for countering LycanitesMobs)
- Added multiple Refined Storage Quests with Pixelmon focused rewards.
- Updated Wizadry Mod and its Library
- Fixed an issue with Steel Ingots. Thanks to @Steelcity91 for pointing it out.
- Cheapened the recipe for the Pixelmon Anvil
***I added LycanitesMobs to this pack just for some added fun and challenge (for me personally). By default LycaniteMobs is disabled. I will leave it up to the individual user if they want to play with it or not. If you wish to play with LycaniteMobs then simply turn it on from the Twitch App.
It would also seem that the copper ore is having the same issue. Even if it immersive engineering ore when smelted it turns to normal copper.
Copper I don't seem to have an issue with. There is only one type of Copper in the Modpack and that is the Immersive Engineering Copper. If you have added your own mods into the pack then I cannot do anything about that. However, from my viewing in JEI there is only one type of Copper and that is the Immersive Engineering Coppers. There is a Pixelmon "relic copper" which doesn't do anything atm.

This update took some time to push out because I was working with Mod Devs of one mod in particular that had some serious crash issues. After working it out with them it would appear the issues has been resolved. I also took some serious time re-working some of the scripts and waiting for some stable updates of other mods in this pack. This update introduced a few new mechanics and therefore the scripts had to be adjusted accordingly.
v. 1.0.9 - Blasting Off Again
- Updated Mr. Crayfish Furniture
- Updated Effortless Building
- Updated HammerCore Lib
- Updated Wizadry
- Updated MetalChests
- Updated CraftTweaker
- Updated KeyBoard Wizard
- Updated some scripts
- Added Pams HarvestCraft seeds to Immersive Engineering Fermentor by @DarethMC
- Added Recipes to craft Grass Path Block and Grass Block
- Added FluxNetwork because why not have Wireless Energy Transfer?
- Added /dank/null because honestly with epic Psi Mining, Inventory always fills
- Updated SmoothFont - may need to reset your fonts
- Added ExpandableInventory because you are a Pixelmon Trainer, you don't have time to ALWAYS go back and empty inventory.
- Altered recipes for ExpandableInventory

Those are actually two reasons why there isn't one to be honest. A ton of Modpacks implement some type of Gravestone Mod. I myself in most of my other modpacks implement it. Exactly because it isn't in this one gives it that "odd" feeling which adds to the challenge aspect because it feels abnormal and when you do die there is a chance all your items will scatter about or fall into lava or get stolen by Kobolds in the area (once you kill them you get them back)
I have put some time into the modpack and i think the Lycanites Mobs really doesnt fit the feel of pokemon. I spent about an hour looking for a desert so i can get some blaze powder so i can make steel, all for a PC and healer. when i couldnt find a desert, i decided to go to the nether and was greeted by about 10 or so mobs and they proceeded to kill me. I was at that time wearing mostly diamond armor with minor enchants. how can i go to the nether to catch cool fire type pokemon, and explore if all im worried about is being killed every second, as a lot of the mobs in the nether had ranged attacks.
In general i feel that Lycanites Mobs spawns should be reduced or add more ways to combat the mods in a more efficient way. Example - more armor/weapons.
one mod i would suggest would be botania as its nature themed and fits well with the pokemon theme and has a ton of armor and weapons to combat the mobs. I personally think that would be a great addition to the pack.

Lycanite mobs are getting locked behind stages. Currently the elemental mobs are locked behind stages. The next set of mobs to get locked behind stages are the Nether Mobs and Infernal Mobs. That will likely be in the next update. As for current weapons to combat mobs with, Psi is quite good with its spells, as well as Wizadry. As for weapons and armor I have Spartan's Armory on my list of possible additions as well as ArmorPlus. These may get added in but I have to see how it will effect the pack overall (I'm not overly concerned about balance as those mods are fairly balanced, more concerned about Load Time and new mod additions post world gen since they add a number of new items).
I have considered adding Botania however adding that would likely remove the chance of adding Spartans Armory and ArmorPlus. But I am open to suggestion on that. But as for the Lycanite mobs yes that is in the immediate future and will likely be done with the next update so there will be no mobs spawning in the Nether until they are unlocked.

Major Update to v.1.1.0
- Updated Bookshelf
- Updated CraftTweaker
- Updated JEI
- Updated JEI HarvestCraft
- Updated SpiceOfLife
- Major Update to Scripts - Infernal and Demonic Mobs are now locked behind Stages
- Updated some Quests and modified rewards for better Balance
- Added more Milestones to further increase MaxHP
- Updated some Keybindings to resolve some conflicts (should only apply to new users)
Special Notes:
This is the first major update since the release of the PokeCraft Modpack. A host of scripts have been modified and added into the game. Currently Elemental, Demonic, and Inferno Lycanite Mobs are locked behind stages. More on unlocking them will reveal itself as more updates come out.
The Quest Database has also been updated. You may need to ReSync your Quest Log. It may not be necessary for all users but for those who have existing worlds the simplest way to check if you need to ReSync the log is to check the "Some New Mechanics" quest line and the quest that requires Kiwi Juice should now offer some additional rewards. If you see that it only offers one reward simply input the command "/bq_admin default load" and this will reload the Quest Database and SHOULD preserve your progress. As always make backups just to be safe.
More milestones have been added to the food list. So go ahead and eat a variety of different foods to further increase your Maximum HP.
Lastly, the Rondure Association has made itself known. The first Rondure Location has been implemented into the WorldGen. Rondure Association Headquarters should now RARELY spawn in WorldGen. The particular location that has been implemented offers a Special Vendor who utilizes Coins instead of PokeDollars to purchase goods as well as a Taskmaster who will eventually give Quests for the Rondure Association. Also in this particular base you will find a Magic Chest that will refresh its inventory every 15 minutes or so.
Although the pack should sync up the settings to your World automatically, to ensure that the Rondure base is actively in your world gen in the event that the settings don't sync, do the following. Check your world save folder's structure folder. If you do not see RondureBase_1 in the structure/active folder then copy it from your Modpacks root directory structure/active folder.

I originally planned to have a number of quests added into this update but I opted to forego that as some of the Mod updates were just too important and fixed to many critical issues, especially the /dank/null update. As a result, this update contains all mod updates and not any quest updates. Quest updates will come likely by the end of this week and/or weekend.
v 1.1.1
- Update to /dank/null - should resolve the items deleting issue
- Update to BetterQuesting - Standard Expansion
- Update Keyboard Wizard
- Update LibrarianLib
- Updated MetalChests
- Added TBone library (depdency for MetalChests now)
- Updated p455w0rdslib for /dank/null
- Updated TimeStages
- Updated Wizadry

Author Note:
I originally planned to have a number of quests added into this update but I opted to forego that as some of the Mod updates were just too important and fixed to many critical issues, especially the /dank/null update. I have been asked a number of times about Tinker's Construct in this pack. What are your thoughts. I am not opposed to it but would rather collect a consensus.
