I am developing a custom modpack for Minecraft 1.12.2, and pushing it through the Technic Launcher, although I am testing on the vanilla launcher for now. When I try and run the modpack, it gets to step 5/7 initialization, and fails to initialize some JEI stuff, throwing an OOM (Out of Memory) Error - see below*. The out of memory error is odd considering my system can run much more intensive and research heavy modpacks such as SevTech: Ages, and the 1.7.10 pack, which have 300+ mods, vs. my modpack's 134. Honestly, I can't find a reason why this is the case, and was wondering if any of you guys had better ideas?
Yeh, I have. Even when I allocate 5GB, Minecraft is only allowed to utilize approximately 4.2 of those GB's, and I can run the 1.7.10 pack and SevTech Ages on 3.5GBs.... It's really odd.
