Hi, man. I have been testing this modpack and find it quite interesting.
I see that you have put a lot of effort into making an expert mode more complex than FTB Infinity Evolved.
Do you know the Advent of Ascension mod? Is similar to Divine RPG but with more mobs, dimensions and a branch of different abilities that make survival more challenging.
If you have a future plan to make a sequel to this modpack, you could include that mod with the expert mode feature?.
If you want you can also add other mods that have not been in this modpack as Ars Magica 2 or Immersive Engineering. Is an idea I had the other day.
Greetings and good luck in your future projects.
PS: Sorry for my bad english ☺
Thanks, I really did put much effort in the recipes, and having played multiple Expert packs, I knew what I needed to change.
- Advent of Ascension - it's not a very fun mod in the early game in my opinion, because it's incredibly unfair that you can't hit most of the mobs. It's already pretty tough to start out with DivineRPG monsters, so I saw no need to add more difficulty. - Ars Magica is a great mod, but unfortunately I haven't played it yet in previous modpacks, just seen videos of it. I didn't want to include it, because I didn't quite know how to change the recipes and what quests to add. - Immersive Engineering is an aesthetically pleasing tech mod, but unfortunately it doesn't add much more possibilities that the currently included tech mods. It does add a little bit more early game power generation, but since you can make a Big Reactor pretty early on, I didn't feel it was necessary.
But that said, if you're playing in Singleplayer, you can add any of these mods from the Twitch Launcher (if they're compatible with the Forge version). Recipes won't be changed and there will be no quests for them obviously, but you can have fun with them too. Though unfortunately you won't be able to connect to a server since you've modified your client.

Updated the modpack to Version 1.4.1: - Added Terra Shatterer to VeinMiner config - Crepitous now requires Sand instead of Cobblestone in Easy mode, because the previous recipe didn't work - Fixed a bug that allowed usage of the original Ender Chest and Ender Pouch recipes - Added a tooltip for Shiny Ingots and Cinnabar on how to obtain them - Added a tooltip for Shadow Eggs that Livestock Merchants sell in the overworld: "Summons a companion."
Server update from 1.4.0 to 1.4.1: - Replace the old "modpack" folder with the new one from the download (easier than replacing individual files) - Replace the config\veinminer\tools-and-blocks.json file with the new one from the download
Server update from 1.3.5 to 1.4.1: - Add FTBTweaks-1.0.2 to the mods folder - Delete the old "scripts" folder and add the new "modpack" folder from this download, as that contains both the Easy and the Hard recipes and tooltips now - Replace the config\veinminer\tools-and-blocks.json file with the new one from the download - Replace the config\SimpleAchievements\achievementList.txt file with the new one from the download - Delete all files inside world\SimpleAchievements - Restart the server and type "/flushAchievements" ingame
I have found that when trying to craft a Redstone Plate it requires to have a Redstone Plate to make it. This makes making the item impossible. I am using version 1.4.1. Btw thanks for this modpack, me and my friends are having a blast playing it.

That is to upgrade the item to have a Security lock on it, so the one who crafted it is the only person that can use it. It has another recipe otherwise. All Thermal Expansion machines have this functionality. You can take a look at the Redstone Furnace, Pulverizer, Tesseract, etc. recipes, they will all have this. Also, the Redstone Plate is not a needed item in the progression, Thermal Expansion just adds that if you want to use it. There are in fact a bunch of Thermal Expansion items that are just useful gadgets to play around with.
I had been playing on a world and I was getting some errors and I figured all I needed to do was re-install the pack but i totally forgot about my world i was playing on. I was wondering if there was any way I could get a backup from an old instance of that world onto my new instance.

Yes, in fact the Curse Launcher automatically makes backups before each update. These are saved in C:\Users\*yourname*\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Backups
But if you reset that folder with the reinstall on you're playing on the Technic Launcher, here is where you can find the world folder: On Curse: C:\Users\*yourname*\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\Divine Journey\saves On Technic: C:\Users\*yourname*\AppData\Roaming\.technic\modpacks\divinejourney\saves (to get to the Roaming folder, search for %appdata% in your Windows Start menu search bar)
It does depend on how much you've reinstalled, but hopefully you'll find your world save in the Backups folder.
Hey Atricos. I suggested this modpack for a YouTube letplayer. Hopefully it will bring some more traffic to the modpack because I think it deserves a lot more attention. Just thought I would let you know because I haven't seen any playthroughs.

I've been wanting to play sth which adds difficulty and tried before another pack, which was fine but made me drop it at the point when it came to mining. While difficulty is nice, it's boring on the other hand to be on a mining trip and not finding anything besides stone, dirt, gravel..
And this is actually, what makes me enjoy this pack a way more. It's more difficult on crafting than others but also rewarding.
If I may share just a few thoughts:
- The hunger system is rather simple/easy, still there's extra food due to Natura and AgriCraft. However, the food is just there but not really needed as you simply can take a stack of anything with you (kill a few cows, make some steaks, you won't need food for a good while). I always thought, "Spice Of Life" is a great solution for this 'issue' and gives some motivation to work with the food. "Hunger Overhaul" with custom configs might also be sth to think of. As for example, if you don't want to give food priority but only make the system more interesting, the longer growing times or the milk delay and such things could be turned off, but still leave on the constant hunger loss and play around with the speed of the hunger loss.
- I know there are dimensions and runic dungeons. However, some adventure or extra surprises in the overworld would be exciting. SGS Treasures doesn't add too much of world generation but is good for a surprise every now and then. The Dungeon Pack exists also for 1.7.10 and doesn't add too many structures either. They can also be disabled (like the big underground dungeon, which might cause issues on older systems or the floating dungeons which might not really fit the world so nicely). The third suggestion on this would be recurrent complex; with this mod you're quite free on which structures shall be added and the loot they shall contain + they integrate very beautiful into the world. The only downside.. for customization it requires quite alot of work.
That's all so far.
Anyway it's already a great enjoyable mod pack, ty very much for your work.
Thank you for the kind words,
- First of all, I didn't want hunger to be a problem at all, in fact once you kill a Wither and get a Division Sigil you can craft a Healing Axe, which if you're holding, constantly restores your hunger.
- Second of all, I think the amount of exploration is enough, here are all the dimensions you have to go through in order to complete the modpack: Runic Dungeons, Twilight Forest, Iceika, Eden, Wildwood, Apalachia, Skythern, Mortum, Dungeon of Arcana, Vethea, Eldritch Maze, Dream World, Torment's Maze, and countless RFTools custom dimensions.
As well as these, overworld exploration is still rewarding, since you can find quite a lot of chests containing useful items in: Dungeon Chests, Blacksmith Chests, Village Tower Chests, Desert Pyramids, Jungle Temples, under some Greatwood Trees, Wisp Obelisks on mountain tops, and Witches' Circle Dispensers.
But that said, if you're playing in Singleplayer, you're more than welcome to add any mods you wish through the Curse Launcher, as long as they're compatible with the current Forge version I'm using (which they most likely will be, if they're for 1.7.10). This way, you can play your modified version of the pack in Singleplayer, but unfortunately you won't be able to connect to servers, since it's a different modded version you're using.
1. Here is first how to make a custom Minecraft server that's only running Forge. I recommend watching this tutorial on how to do it: (The Forge version I'm using is forge-1.7.10-10.13.4.1614-1.7.10-universal.)
(You can click the YouTube icon on the bottom right to open the actual video.)
2. Once it runs without mods, open the client's folder (C:\Users\*yourname*\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\Divine Journey), and copy all the non-clientonly mods to the server's mods folder, then all these folders: config, modpack & scripts to the server's folder.
4. Setup the server.properties file to however you want, the important ones are: allow-flight=true,server-ip=192.168.1.? (your current IPv4 address), generate-structures=true, and white-list,hardcore, online-mode, pvp, max-players, view-distance, motd (the server's message of the day) however you want.
5. Run the minecraft_server.1.7.10 (or restart it if it's still running), and you should be good to go.
I'm trying to get the Halite Helmet but no Mortum bosses drop it. In the wiki says that currently have removed two bosses which one of them gave you. I already have the other Halite parts, only need the helmet.

You can either use a Densos Spawn Crystal or a Reyvor Spawn Crystal to summon the two bosses at once, and they have a chance of dropping any piece of Halite Armor. Alternatively, you can use a Zichile Crystal in Mortum to summon Dex & Zichile, and they also have a chance of dropping any piece.
If you kill them enough of times, you should get all pieces of Halite Armor.
But I do also recommend Bound Armor and QuantumFlux Armor, they are both really good.

Updated the modpack to Version 1.4.2.
If you notice issues with the Achievement Book with the newest updates, you need to delete the contents of the: C:\Users\*yourname*\Documents\Curse\Minecraft\Instances\Divine Journey\saves\*worldname*\SimpleAchievements folder. When logging into your world, you might also need to use the "/flushAchievements" command (it Tab-autocompletes from "/fl", but you need to toggle cheats on for this).
Version 1.4.2: - Fixed not being able to use scrollwheel to get items to/from a container. - Enchanted Fabric can now be crafted with Spellbinding Cloth of any durability. - Fixed a bug where Tinkers' Construct Traveller's Belt and Traveller's Gloves could cause your client to crash while equipping. Old Belts and Gloves with this property can be converted to correct ones by renaming them in an Anvil. - Added a tooltip for the Traveller's Belt & Gloves to let you know that you can fix the client crashes by renaming the items in an Anvil.
Server update from 1.4.1 to 1.4.2: - Replace the old config\MouseTweaks.cfg with the new one from this download. - Replace the old modpack folder with the new one from this download (easier than replacing individual files).

Updated the modpack to Version 1.4.3.
Version 1.4.3: - Fixed a bug where Botania Earth Runes weren't craftable because it required a Mushroom Stew with a different ID - Enabled Redwood Trees in the Overworld for some Botania Runes - Scribing Tools and Crystal Scribing Tools now can be properly repaired from any damage value
Server update from 1.4.2 to 1.4.3: - Replace config\Natura.cfg with the new one from this download. - Replace the modpack folder with the new one from this download (easier than replacing individual files).
Before i updated to actual version i backed up world so i can continue my ,,journey"
When i started playing on my save and wanted to check recipe with LeftMouseButton
it gave me stack of item i wanted to see recipe for
Any idea how to fix it?
I don't want to click r everytime (ye im lazy xD)
Your NEI got changed into Utilitiy Mode from recipe Mode. That might be because you enabled Cheats on your new world. Go to NEI Settings (top left in your inventory) and change Utility Mode (ore Cheat Mode) to Recipe Mode.
I've seen nicolbw on YT start playing this pack on peaceful. Is that even possible to complete the pack that way?
Even though Peaceful Tables do give you a lot of what you need, there is no way, it isn't possible to complete the pack that way, because of the following things (in order of completion): 1. You need to summon and defeat a couple bosses to obtain Divine Shards to get to Eden, the 2nd DivineRPG dimension. 2. You need to perform the Demon Portal Ritual from Blood Magic (a.k.a. the Convocation of the Damned Ritual) and let Demons summon to get Life Shards and Soul Shards to be able to craft the Botania Elven Gateway Core and the Thaumometer. 3. You need a lot of Powered Spawners to get enough mob drops from Endermen, Blazes, at least 5 different DivineRPG creatures for all the 5 Twilight Souls, and Wisps for Thaumic Energistics. 4. You need to complete the Twilight Forest (with 8 bosses that don't spawn in Peaceful) to get to Elven Trading. 5. You need to kill the Gaia Guardian to get Gaia Spirits to get into Thaumcraft. 6. You need to kill the Eldritch Guardian (maybe Powered Spawn him too) to get to the Eldritch Maze. 7. You need to kill the Champion Eldritch Guardian to get the Primordial Pearl. 8. You need to summon and kill Witchery Demons to get Demonic Blood (needed for other Witchery items and Creative Blood Orbs) 9. You need to find Datticon (who doesn't spawn in Peaceful) in the Dungeon of Arcana to be able to obtain Charged Collectors for some Creative Items. 10. You need to summon an Imp, teach it and obtain the Torment Scroll to get to Torment's Maze and defeat the Lord of Torment for its Scroll to be able to craft some Creative Items later. 11. You need to summon Death a lot of times (maybe even automate Death summoning) to get Death's Hands needed for some Creative Items. 12. You need to kill the Ender Dragon multiple times and setup a farm for it in the lategame to get Dragon Hearts and get a lot of Awakened Draconium. It's possible to also make a custom RFTools Dimension full of Ender Dragons for this reason, you just need an Ender Dragon Dimlet.
But even knowing these, I do not discourage playing on Peaceful, and I do recommend changing the gamemode to Easy whenever it comes to these parts. Also, after the player has visited Eden, the Magnum Torch becomes craftable, which prevents mobs from spawning in a 64 block radius from wherever it's placed (this works in all difficulties, and doesn't disable custom mob spawning like Powered Spawners or Cursed Earth). After a while the player also gets a lot more OP, so having mobs spawning is not going to be an issue, so she could decide to change the difficulty to Easy for the rest of the playthrough, if this becomes the case. Anyway, good luck completing the pack, in whatever way she wishes to do it!

hello there, are there any server files?
so I can play on a server?

Client only mods are:
- Autowalk
- Custom Main Menu
- Inventory Tweaks
- Journey Map
- Mouse Tweaks
- Resource Loader
3. Make a run.bat file to give your Minecraft server more RAM, here is a great tutorial (4th comment): http://www.minecraftforum.net/forums/support/server-support/server-administration/1926069-help-how-do-i-give-my-server-more-ram
