Welcome, to this Villager INC Hardcore Quest Modpack!
Villager INC Recolonisation is a quest based mod featuring the skill, exploration and processing systems of Advent of Ascension, Mekanism, Tinker's Construct and more! So enjoy this fast paced, gruelling, dimension saving adventure as you try to fix the space-time continuum and stay alive!
Welcome to Villager INC Recolonisation, an exploration/tech based mudpack that pitches you against the abandoned earth, and the leaking dimensions. Most of this modpack is based around the features of Advent of Acension, including it's many dimensions and bosses. You'll also be delving into the tech wonders of Mekanism, Extra Utilities, Tinkers Construct, Ender IO and more! So grab your quest book, look out for goblins and go explore that world!
You main challenges are the aggressive nights (with it's many mobs) and the lack of vanilla ores. Iron, Gold and Lapis do not spawn in the overworld, so you'll have find alternatives or discover a way of collecting ore. This will be your first priority.
The Nether is also disabled, so Ex Nihilo will be your main way of collecting nether items.
There is a big emphases on automation, with mekanism, refined relocation and extra utilities being large parts of the pack. Mods like progressive automation and ender IO are also there to give you a hand.
Tinkers Construct will be your only way of producing regular tools, as vanilla tools now have a durability of 2 (practically useless!). Iguanas Tinker Tweaks is also included, so levelling up tools is a good option, since you'll be using them a lot.
You should also note that energy between Mekanism, RF and Applied Energistics is not compatible, so machines from different mods will require their own power sources.
Finally, Villager INC, a mod made purposely for this modpack, will also become important towards the end of the quest line.
Map:
The Modpack comes with a pre-installed map for players to use. However, it is not essential to the modpack, and is only there to provide a small start. The modpack is just as good (or even better) without the map, so players are welcome to create their own saves! Just remember to use the Biomes 'O' Plenty world type!
Quests:
Your questbook has 10 separate quest lines, which unlock after you progress a certain way through the first section. The first section focuses on preparing the player, and introducing them to the various mods. It also contains the quests that unlock later quest lines.
Section two focuses on basic automation and processing. It also introduces advanced mods like Minechem and Super Massive Tech
Section three is completely based on the portal gun mod. Not for any reason other than I love portal (you have played the Villager INC A-Z map, right?).
Section four teaches players the very basics of AoA, and forces them to use the Portal Structure.
Section five is completely Mekanism based, covering everything to do with the mod, and how it processes ore.
Section six covers the skill system of AoA, which is required for later boss fights. This skill system is essential to the mod and the modpack.
Section seven details my own mod; Villager INC. It also introduces the Green-Dimension.
Section eight is about Ender IO, and how it's machines work.
Section nine briefly covers agricraft, and how it can be used to grow mutated crops.
Section ten is the climax of the storyline, as it requires players to collect all 6 Ever-Gems to unlock (these are obtained by completing quest lines). Players must then fight 5 bosses. Once all five are vanquished, the story and quest line end.
More may be added in future versions!

Mod Name: Advanced Generators
Author: Bdew
Description: Freeform multiblock generators that produce MJ, RF and EU
Sieving is will be your first way of producing iron and gold. Set up a cobblestone generator connected to a crusher to produce gravel, then lead this into a automatic sieve.
A tree farm is good early-game. Try using progressive automation. Wood can be burnt for RF or used in crafting.
The pre-made map comes complete with free solar panels. Use them to power your first mechanism machines.
If you can't craft iron armour, use copper or Tester's armour.
Choosing a dimension in the Portal Structure uses up a realm-stone, and deletes the previous portal. To avoid this, craft a warp book, and save each dimension you visit!
Ender pearls can be cheaply crafted using a certain kind of log and sand.
save your iron for a automated sieve. You'll want it!
Extra Utilities generators are a good early/mid-game choice, and you might complete some quests along the way.
Advanced Generators are good for mid/late-game, as you can produce lots of RF for little work.
Steam Turbine Generators require no fuel other than steam. Automate steam production, and you have free energy!
Barrels and transfer pipes are great for sorting items.
Decomposing certain blocks using minechem is a effective way to produce some rare chemicals.
The Green-Nether also has nether fortresses, and every nether mob!
Voxel map can be used to teleport using waypoints.
Avoid swamps and spruce forests early in the game
Railcraft has some useful multi-block machines.
Digital Miners are cool!

Found a bug. The second quest wants me to make a wooden pick axe head, but wood is not a material allowed for it. Not sure if wood should be enabled for it, of if the quest should be changed to a flint head.
Sounds really cool!!! But, before dive into it, i have a question. If nether is disabled, where do i obtain aoa items from mob drops that spawn in nether?
edit: i see green nether tip today... Let me just jump into the game, thanks!
