First idea: already thought about making a really small modpack with just some cool enhancements to the vanilla game. First i just thought about graphical stuff but maybe some cool other mods would really help.
Second idea: I always wanted to created such a pack but honestly I'm not really into HQM atm and I am pretty lazy so I don't know if I can do such a thing. If you and maybe someone else would agree on doing the hqm stuff and maybe teaching me I will make that pack.
My ideas: I'm currently at a point where my othe rmodpacks run good and only need some small bugfixes here and there. So I will create anothe rpack soon. It will most likely be either the first idea you had or more likely a post apocalypse pack. I dont really know how I want that pack to be. More like a SP rebuilding pack like regrwoth with tech or more like a pvp/darkRP thing with quest and maybe a map or server.
Firstly: My concern for the first pack was the lack of mods that could be put into the pack and how big said mods would be. The 2 largest mods that I found that will work for the pack were Openblocks and Extra Utilities; I will leave this up to you but I found a mod that is borderline for starting from vanilla and that is the Witchery mod, most of it can be started from vanilla but there are some features that I am questioning like summoning several bosses and the spirit realm, as well as new village spawns like the apothecaries and book stands featuring the vampire stuff.
Secondly: I know that HQM would be a difficult mod to work with (honestly I've never worked with it) but even then I feel that the primary of the storytelling would be through CustomNPC's; HQM would just be a journal of sorts so we wouldn't go too in depth with it. Even then I knew that this would be a difficult pack to make singlehandedly which is why I will try to brush up on my story writing and mod knowledge to try and help you if you agree.
Thirdly: Thank you so much for reading through and considering my ideas that really means quite a lot to me. (No I am not sucking up... That wasn't what I was trying to do.) Also your idea for the post apocalyptic pack would be very cool. However, I recommend staying away from the tainted world scenario from Thaumcraft, that has already been done one too many times.
I am having a problem with sco working with my mac computer whenever I try loading the game this message appears,

I have a suggestion for a modpack for 1.8 that uses ProjectE and DrCyano's power advantage,steam advantage,and electrical advantage along with highlands.
So I got jailed for a day, and the reason behind that was I was asking staff some questions. I wasn't spamming and it was 3 questions then I stopped. I asked why I got jailed and they said for spamming even tho I stopped. Then they said I spammed withers witch they had no proof it was me and they took my wither seeds so there wasn't a way I would be able to get the wither skulls. And he said getting smart with staff witch I did not understand and I asked him when and he did not answer. Also they never had a sign that said I cant spawn withers. Also he /kill me at the hub when the server crashed and said the gia guardian might have followed you. The staff that abused his rank like this was BangxYourexDead

Um I can't log into sao.ancientrpg.net it says try restarting your game, but I did that like 10 times, but it always say the same thing.
I know you already have sao modpack but IF it is possible, can you make alo modpack plus release an alo server IF you can.
Should add betterfps or fastcraft to increase FPS.
