I may not be posting this in the right place, but I am having trouble finding mods/mod packs that suit my wants. I'm looking for compatibility with 1.8.x. I am looking for mods to supplement Minecraft, not completely change the game. I'm looking for something similar to the old Yogbox. I felt it added so much, yet didn't change the game into something else. The most notable mods for me were Millenaire, Treecapitator, Seasons, and Mo Creatures. There may or may not have been a furniture mod, but I would like one. Are there any mod packs like that out there anymore or are they all pretty much about adding machinery now?
That'd be awesome if you could! As I mentioned, Millenaire, Mo Creatures, Treecapitator, Twilight Forest, and Seasons. Another mod that I remembered were the Zelda Hearts mod. More or less, most mods that supplement the survival and adventure experience are welcome. I'm not really interested in the tech and magic mods at all. Feel free to message me if you put anything together.
Many of the mods from the Yogbox are still out there for 1.8 Battle Towers for example. You may also like The Ruins mod. It adds new generated structures to make exploring more integral to the game. http://atomicstryker.net/ruins.php
Thanks for the suggestions! I was really having a hard time finding mods that weren't all tech and magic based. I remembered the Yogbox being the most fun I've had. I'm glad that some of the mods are still around.
If you want you could probably recreate The Yogbox, maybe not in 1.8 but certainly in 1.7.10. Most of the major mods are available like Better Dungeons, Millionaire, Mo' Creatures, Minions, and Thaumcraft. As for the others similar replacements are available Enchanting Plus, Legend Gear 2, and Archimede's Ships.

Couldn't you just learn how to make your own technic modpack? I did and I am now forever grateful due to my power to control the mods I play with.
On my to do list. To a certain extent, I'm relying on others to help me even get started. Most of the mods I've been seeing are all one in the same. Tech here, magic there, 1000 new ores here, sprinkle in some Five Nights at Freddy's and bam, majority of what I see. But yes, learning for myself is on my list.

Whenever you have time I suggest doing so. It will make your modded experience heaven...for a while;)

Thanks for the reply, but that is not at all what I am looking for.
I could create a pack for you

Btw it will be on the FTB Launcher as technic is a pain to make a pack for

For awhile? I can only imagine what that means.
