Hi, FTB launcher only has this modpack at version 1.1.4. I can't progress past the first area because it has Dead Logs instead of Deadpine logs. Any idea how or when FTB launcher will have the 1.1.6 version?
Not sure, we submit versions to them and have to wait for them to publish it. In short, we cant control how long it will take, its up to FTB.

Darkosto's informed me that this was happening. It has something to do with InfiniteInvo's last update (one of my mods). Interacting with blocks seems to cause something odd to happen and the inventory just dies. I'm working on fixing this as soon as possible so Darkosto can update the pack with a fixed version.
- Copy dimensional-anchor-59.0.2.jar from the client to the server mods folder. - Delete MouseTweaks-2.4.4-mc1.7.10.jar from the server, this is a client-side mod.

To be honest, FTB takes far too long to get out updates when I send them. It makes it incredibly difficult to stay on top of serious issues with their schedule. I recommend using the AT Launcher if possible

Yup, I am also aware of this and have been working on it. I may roll back to a previous version of InfiniteInvo just to get rid of the crash for now.
The MOD Packs are fussy for me. I use them on my mcpe channel... But PC no. Cause i boot up forge and the next thing you know... BOOM. i crash.
Are you allocating enough RAM to the launcher when trying to play modpacks?
On the most recent update (1.1.7) on the ATLauncher I found 4 Quests that can not be finished. 1.Setting up Shop - Cactar! (It doesnt accept normal water)2.For Science! - HEY! USE UR SNOW HERE! (You cant craft a RESONANT glacial precipitator only a basic one)3.Feeling Lucky? - Off to the Races! (Doesnt accept the carrot on a stick)4.We Must Go Deeperer! - Infracells Up! (still with all sides blue it doesnt accept the resonant energy cells)
These quests have been giving me serious trouble since the beginning. I may get rid of them due to HQM's lack of ability to customize certain aspects of item turn ins. Anyways, thank you for the report!! I have a few questions to help me replicate these:1. I can change this to water, no issue
2. I can also change this to accept all types of the machine
3. This quest has been rough to try and get working, this may definitely go away
4. Just so I know for sure, you are attempting to turn in fully charged cells?

I am having trouble with this pack, when i try to create a new world it just goes back to main screen and theres no new save file
You may not be running enough RAM or permagen, check your settings and make sure you are allocating the correct amount (RAM should be at least 2gb and permagen is set to 512). Also, if this does not help I suggest re installing because it sounds like you may not have the template folder installed.
Also, for anyone who may interested or experiencing issues: I will be streaming the bug fixes and playthrough of the pack today in about 20ish minutes at
I've noticed some bugs with the 1.1.7 update. It didn't test if they are still in 1.1.8 if you've fixed them, just ignore me. I can't complete the infinity bucket quest it wants the essence berry bushes with meta 9 (the ones out of NEI) but the ones you get from mining have meta 1. The slice'n'splice requires a invar axe which you can't craft anymore. And the update broke my existing world save, it didn't load anymore, I had to manually delete the HardcoreQuesting folder from the save and unlock the quests with hqm edit.
The breaking of the save file was expected due to the complete overhaul of the questbook, that's why I had added the "save your save before updating". The other two issues of needed items can be fixed rather easily, I wasn't aware since this is the first report. Thank you very much!! I plan on releasing this update as soon as some issues with another mod is resolved.

Hey there Modders , this pack is really cool, a really stroy-like game. But what i miss in this pack is Multiplayer. Are you planning to add this?
I do plan on working on a more workable multiplayer version of the map. At the moment, I'm working out most of the bugs with single-player before I jump into the project of multiplayer

to me, it appears that the bugs are consistent between multiplayer and singleplayer, with exception of a few instances (infinite inventory)
then again i actually havent been able to get on for the past half a week or so (D-8) but not because of a problem with the pack.

Yup, so far they are getting ironed out as people are reporting the issues. Unfortunately, I have to patient to allow mod developers the time to resolve some of their bugs before I can move forward with the pack. Just keep reporting everything you can so I can be aware and do what I can to fix it

Is there any way to get more activated division sigils than the one you get as a quest reward? Because that way you are limited to only 9 red matter + 13 unstable ingots if you don't waste any. That's only enough for two watch of flowing time.
I could make the sigil quest repeatable, or add something that will allow you to get more as needed. I should have an update out today that will have this included. Thank you!

I just updated from 1.1.5 to 1.1.9 and I am getting massive frame-drops randomly. I never had a problem with 1.1.5 but now I go from 100 frames to single digits. When I looked in the console as it happened, it kept saying I was having server lag on my single player world. Anyone else having problems like this or now how to fix this?

We've been trying to figure this out for a while now, it seems that for some unknown reason users randomly lose a LOT of FPS to the point where Minecraft is unplayable however there seems to be no clear explanation on when or how it happens. We'll let everyone know when we can figure out more about the problem. In the mean time all I can suggest is to play with any setting you may feel is influencing it to see if it helps and let us know of any interesting findings.
Glad you were able to fix your first problem! As for the second error, it is caused by HQM sometimes when you die in hardcore. Don't worry about it, just reload the game like normal and it will all work fine. Thanks for playing our pack!

I looked in the instance folder and found a folder called "World" (uppercase W). Renaming it to "world" fixed the issue.

Unfortunately, I am not able to do much support for linux or mac for a few reasons (I would like to be able to). Some of the issues you experience with the world folder or the template not even showing up in some cases are shared by others. I'm glad you were able to remedy the issue. The game does crash at times after you die due to HQM. This is something I can't do from my end and since they are in the middle of a complete rewrite of their mod it's going to be a while before I can try to fix it.

I managed to spawn in a large watery area and dug into one of the cliffs and made my base there. It's kind of nice, I made a dock with a farm on it and the only way monsters can attack is by dropping into the water and swimming at me.
At first, the difficulty is a bit off-putting, but i'm starting to get the hang of the modpack.
I'm a bit at a loss as to how to deal with ESM ghasts though. They blast right through the roof of my cave and the hordes of monsters on top break through.I think this is the only time i've ever really had to enter creative mode, just to prevent my game from becoming unsalvageable (it doesnt help that the first ghast attack destroyed a third of my supplies)
The only thing I can think of immediately is to make a platform in the middle of the water and try to hit their fireballs back at them. I was wondering if there was a more effective way to deal with them. Or if there was a method I could use to reinforce the roof of my cave.
EDIT: Also. My bed was destroyed somehow and when I died, I respawned on the bedrock roof of the world.
