Once it's more balanced and less "You encountered X, you die!" Then it will be added.
Although I do think that day time should be relatively safe, fighting for my life 24/7 is not that fun...There's dungeons for that danger. I'm not sure if I like the insanely dangerous mobs from mining alone, chopping a tree, and other peaceful things...I dunno, I personally think the mobs are too OP and too common, but I guess that's just me. :/

Check out my adventure modpack! 25+ carefully selected mods (Not counting Core Mods) and great for if you don't have that beefy of a computer. Plus it has over 2K downloads and counting so y'know it's good. Oh, and fully multiplayer compatible!
There's also the resource intensive version (if you can handle it) for a bigger experience!
I am proud to say that we have hit 65+ downloads and 300+ runs! I never imagined this would be so popular!
In other news, minepainter was removed for lagging and such, mods were updated, and Trapcraft was added!

I was waiting for this moment!
We'll see how this goes.

2.5.4 - The Config update!
This update brings...
* Configured Doomlike Dungeons to spawn a bit more.
* Configured Lycanite's Mobs to be less laggy and have less mobs spawn.
+ Added Dynamic Lights. Shouldn't add lag at all.
So yeah, an update.

2.5.8 - The storage update!
* Updated Lycanite's Mobs config again, nerfing spawns. (Again.)
+ Added Iron Chests.
+ Added Iron Chest Minecarts.
+ Added Chest Transporter.
In other news, the mod list was out of date so I updated it.

- Removed Utility Mobs, we got a better mod: Thaumcraft adds defenses!
- Removed Lava Monsters, it was simply redundant.
+ Added Thaumcraft.
+ Added Thaumcraft NEI Plugin.
Notes: I verified all the new mods and they are balanced, so don't expect them going away unless something comes up!
2.5.9
This update involves mostly updates, and a little config changes.
* Nerfed spawning of Lycanite's Mobs again. (x3)
* Updated Zelda Sword Skills, fixes some crash issues.
* Updated Lycanite's Mobs, some lagging issues fixed.

My interest is not quite pure - I have a long term exploration and build oriented pack I maintain for myself and some friends and saw some very interesting mods in your pack. Where on earth dod you find a download for the "Dungeon Pack" for 1.7.10?

Grimore of Gaia is interesting, but I want my pack to be vary dangerous at night, but mostly peaceful during the day (building is no fun when getting attacked every 30 seconds) and since it's based on going in dungeons...Unless I'm mistaken Grimore of Gaia also adds mobs in the day.
Well, difficulty scale:
Day Time (easiest, practically peaceful)
Night Time (Pretty dangerous, either have good gear or get good.)
Dungeons (Decent Armor recommended, can be hard with armies of mobs.)
Antique Atlas...I dunno why I didn't add that, I think there was a conflict...? (Unless you added it with no issues, which then I'd add it.)
Is Fastcraft more efficient or equal to Optifine though? I already have Optifine available as a recommended mod. But if they work the same, I don't see why not to just make things easier and add Fastcraft instead. (Optifine doesn't allow Modpack permission, probably because ad.fly...)
MCF modlist is your friend when finding 1.7.10 mods, I simply searched the mod up there and bam, found it.

Grimoire does add mobs during the day, but the daytime mobs are non hostile until/unless attacked, so it actually fits your requirements to a T.
Fastcraft solves entirely different problems to Optifine. Optifine attempts to optimise/improve OpenGL rendering code. Fastcraft is a general attempt to patch poorly performing parts of minecraft with improved performance rewrites based on profiling to detect hotspots. One of the things that is significantly faster is chunk generation in 1.7.10.
A different mod that can help assist with performance issues is Opis.
Are you using Recurrent Complex to spawn in custom structures? Because the pack also has Floating Ruins. (As well as DungeonPack, Doomlike Dungeons AND Roguelike Dungeons for underground structures).

Oh, well then it shouldn't be a problem.
With a bit of research I found out both Fastcraft and Optifine can work together, so I'll add Fastcraft into the modpack.
Thing is, I'm wondering if Opis works with Optifine and Fastcraft...Research time, I guess.
Yeah, I'm using that mod, I don't want a shortage of dungeons to explore.

It adds in several dungeons and event a few towns with custom NPCs and Shops in it!
Hire Mercenarys and mini quests!
Bosses within each dungeon some dungeons even have secret bosses!
Advanced AI in the mobs should they be almost dead they will flee to drink potions!
Custom gear items ect obtained from the dungeons and there bosses!
I know of that mod, I would add it, but it would cause waaay too much lag with everything else on top.
Plus, the dungeons are always the same every time and generally become uninteresting the second time you go in. Hence why I'm using dungeon mods that generate procedurally instead of just the same dungeon repeating.

* Minepainter is not in the list but is in the pack. Also okutils, playerapi, dynamic lights
* You have included the 1.7.2 version of TreeCapitator?
* All the other mods seem up to date, but BattleGear2 is many versions behind.
* What is the intention with the inclusion of BWG4?
* DynamicLights can be a FPS hog. Optifine might not be so necessary if it was dropped.

Seriously? Thought I removed that...Dynamic Lights is not in the list? I thought it was...Meh, I'll see about that. Treecapitator 1.7.2 works in 1.7.10.
Oh...I'll update it next update then.
The intention? I find the skylands generation and survival island and stuff to be interesting, and since it doesn't take anything from performance if you don't use it, I figured "why not"?
Yeah...I think I'll drop that despite it being useful and nice, someone suggested it earlier, but I think it'd be better to not include it. Still though it's not hard to just press L and disable it, I'll think about this...
Those are the only ones included because the others are created, it's pointless to have it re-download the same configs that have no changes. The only reason those are included is because I changed them.

Two mods that I think will go with your theme:
http://www.curse.com/mc-mods/minecraft/228948-grimoire-of-gaia

You also could probably benefit from adding FastCraft (http://forum.industrial-craft.net/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=10820). I know it became much more playable for me with that added.
