Check out my adventure modpack! 25+ carefully selected mods (Not counting Core Mods) and great for if you don't have that beefy of a computer. Plus it has over 2K downloads and counting so y'know it's good. Oh, and fully multiplayer compatible!
There's also the resource intensive version (if you can handle it) for a bigger experience!
- Removed Grimore of Gaia, the reason behind this is that it didn't go with the original purpose of the modpack, night time should be dangerous, but not you-need-diamond level, dungeons are where it gets real.
*Updated Zelda Sword Skills
*Updated Battlegear 2
Resource Intensive/Advanced:
v1.5
- Removed Grimore of Gaia, the reason behind this is that it didn't go with the original purpose of the modpack, night time should be dangerous, but not you-need-diamond level, dungeons are where it gets real.
1.5 it comes alive with a redstone update overdrive! (Couldn't help it.)
+ Added Redstone Paste
+ Added More Pistons
+ Added GollumCore (needed for More Pistons)
*Updated Zelda Sword Skills
*Updated Battlegear 2

Will you make a server to play with this mods?
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Doesn't matter what the press says. Doesn't matter what the politicians or the mobs say. Doesn't matter if the whole country decides that something wrong is something right. This nation was founded on one principle above all else: the requirement that we stand up for what we believe, no matter the odds or the consequences. When the mob and the press and the whole world tell you to move, your job is to plant yourself like a tree beside the river of truth, and tell the whole world — "No, you move
I feel like managing a modpack and a server at the same time is just too much for just me, someone else can make a server if they want and I'd be happy to add that as the official server of the modpack.
I also have other hobbies, like making games, and playing them, so...Pretty much.

If I had a properly port forwarded and secure server (or the money for one) I would probably be able do it, it'd be whitelisted probably, only would cost some video game time. (Maybe I could even promote some dedicated fans to moderators, not that I'd do nothing after that, mind you.)
The rest of my blockages are due to lack of research on modding servers.
And...News that effects all of the modpack users:
Copy, the current cloud storage/sharing service I am using to upload my modpacks, is shutting down on May 1st.
So...Suggest some alternative platforms, or else on May 1st there won't be a modpack here anymore, so...Yeah...Has to at least have 3 GB free space, I have 1.2 GB right now, and I don't plan on ever reaching the limit.
Thanks a lot in advance for any suggestions.
EDIT: I am now switching to Google Drive, already know how to make direct links too, so no worries.
On a more positive note: some updates are here!
Regular:
- Removed Zelda Sword Skills Addon, it doesn't work with the latest ZSS apparently, said by the mod dev. (Didn't remember it was there in the first place, lol.)
*Updated Antique Atlas
*Updated Zelda Sword Skills
Resource Intensive:
+ Added Eldritch Empires (no forge version specified, so yolo.)

Apparently Google Drive doesn't work, for now I'm switching back to Copy.
Though I still need to find an alternative before Feb May 1st, and that's proving harder than expected.
Edit: Found x10hosting, I'll update later on if this works out, so far the confirmation email hasn't arrived though. (Probably has to go through a filter of some sort because it's a free service.)
Edit 2: Downloads appear to be working!
Server files are being updated to work again, modpack files are already fixed.

So as it turns out, after roughly 24 hours of the files being uploaded in the public folder, they get deleted, cleared completely.
So I need a new host that actually keeps the files uploaded permanently, is free, relatively easy to use, and has not too much of a bandwidth limit, suggestions would be appreciated, I'm honestly at a complete loss of what other platform would work.
So basically I'm back to square one of that may 1st deadline to find a new platform.
Edit: I'm trying out Dropbox now, downloads will be slow as molasses but at least it'll work....Maybe, we'll see, my biggest concern is the 20 GB bandwidth limit, I'm pretty sure my packs aren't that popular yet, but still... (The biggest file is about 90 MB, the resource intensive version of the modpack, the original is roughly half that.)

I have switched the downloads to Dropbox, and it works perfectly fine! It also downloads much faster than I thought it would.
Unless I underestimated how popular my packs are bandwidth limits shouldn't be an issue, calculating it, it would take over 100 downloads of the resource intensive version (the biggest one) in one day to reach the limit.
So no need to worry about that May 1st deadline anymore!

I've started a poll regarding an issue with balance and resources, it'll last 2 weeks and I'm not taking a vote in it.
Basically, Universal Coins allows any resource to turn into any other resource, and some rare resources are pretty cheap, resulting in some unbalance in the force of economy, but it's far more open than the Deconstruction Table mod.
Deconstruction Table on the other hand only lets you "uncraft" things, so you can't for instance convert carrots into seeds, it's less open but more balanced.
I am aware that Twilight Forest has a decrafting table, but at least to me the XP cost just is too high to be worth it.
Edit: It should be noted that both mods as far as I know don't work with modded items.

TheRedMajora's ZSS Addon? It's very balanced, and it adds many very nice items.
It's been planned for the next update, I just don't update with very small stuff like one pretty small mod.
And well, I'm not sure if it still has the Octopocalyse issue, I would like to keep daytime relatively safe so you can build in peace at the surface.

Well, you can disable Octorok Spawning in the config folder, but if you don't do that, prepare to face the apoctolyptic consequences.(Just love saying that) Also fixed the 50/50 poll

I think I'll do just that, as accurate as having 2 octoroks each chunk is. (Each NES LoZ screen, if you will.) it gets annoying faster than I can eat a berry in MC.
And thanks for voting, that 50/50 was driving me insane. (Inb4 new guy votes the other one though, complete with troll face post.)

Hmm, I'll look into that.
Managing it on multiple platforms sounds like kinda a pain but...I'll give it a shot.
Edit: The updates have arrived!
Both versions:
+ Added SkinPort, 1.8 skin support is now a thing!
+ Added Hammer Time! (Good replacement for Tconstruct 3x3 digging tools, they look better too!)
Regular:
* Updated Doomlike Dungeons.
Resource Intensive:

New updates came out for both versions.
Regular:
v2.8
- Removed Grimore of Gaia, the reason behind this is that it didn't go with the original purpose of the modpack, night time should be dangerous, but not you-need-diamond level, dungeons are where it gets real.

It would be great if in the future he had a server for modpack.

One of the best modpacks I've ever played.

Thanks for the positive feedback, I'm honored that it's one of the best you've played!
With the poll at a 50/50, I can't really make a choice.
I'll probably give it another week if it's still even when it runs out of time.
Edit: Added another week to the poll, a 50/50 wont do.
