This modpack is for Minecraft 1.7.10 on the Technic platform. It is inspired by a popular anime called "Sword Art Online"

Basic Features: Dual Wielding, upgrading stats, many castles/cities and structures, many dungeons, sword skills, UI, new mobs/bosses, voice chat, dimensions, swords from the anime, RPG items such as revival feathers (phoenix down).
Level Up Skills:
Allocate XP to permanent stats such as explosion resistance, fire resistance, general resistance, sword power, bow power, fall resistance, swimming speed, cooking speed, etc. Open gui by default "H".
Dying removes all stats, skills, and max HP bonuses.
General frequently used default controls:
H - Open Stats
P - View Sword Skills
X - Hold down to target foe
F - Draw Weapons and Shields set to on Dual Wield Inventory
R - Open Dual Wielding Inventory
M - Open Extended Inventory
(Recently improved, check controls menu)

Hardcore Experience:
To make it more like the anime, there are some serious death penalties. When you die, you essentially have to restart. You lose most of your sword skills, all of your stats, most of your health upgrades, items, buffs, and XP. It is imperative you survive, and I recommend hardcore mode for full anime experience. It will also fry your brain in real life, so be careful!
This mod pack is intentionally built with deadly mods to kill you. ALO edition will be different.
Note: no more death penalties except in hardcore mode.
By default, yes. Fast Craft may still help with all other lag, if you download it. (highly recommended)
But keep in mind it jumps, and does not visibly slide to lower numbers.
Yea did you put sao alo and ggo in the same pack? If you did its ok, because that would be cool.

Actually I am making multiplayer compatible versions with alternate configurations. In other words, the ALO edition will have you start off and respawn in the Twilight Forest. It will work with the other ones in multiplayer. I would tell you more, but I don't want to spoil the fun.
Guns are a temporary feature until ggo edition is released, so that crafting will eventually be disabled client side. For now I am keeping it true to the entire anime until the seperation starts. As for magic, staves simply fire projectiles. Wielders do not use magic. Of course, this will change in ALO edition, with legit magic.
Question why are there guns and magic if there is in a sao mod pack because they don't have that In the anime?
My above post answers the question. Again, as of now this covers the entire anime. Sorry if this was misleading.
Edit: Stock up on guns and ammo for now if you are playing, they might come in handy when crafting is disabled.
Unless you are on hardcore like I am, this is hard enough to simply survive. Let alone make that much progress.
Actually, it crashes on startup when you add the mod.

Looks quite promising I'd say though there seems to be some serious problems...
I've tried using the technic platform to get your modpack. Seemed to load for a very~long time but loaded without crashing though
HOWEVER, as soon as I spawn the whole place around me is pitch black as if I'm deep underwater. Although I'm not underwater...
Tried enabling cheat during survival mode to fly but flying didn't seem to get me anywhere.
Right now all i'm seeing is a dim view of the sun and some wierd group of sims green icons...
Is there a particular step to installing? I think you need a better discription on getting it to work.
No. Reload the world. It should work. If not, get Fastcraft as I said before. It reduces lag 800%.
If problems continue, allocate more ram. It should take a while to generate the world as it is full of structures.
Could you perhaps create another mod, more SAO centralized, with a Nerve Gear Helmet and that AtmoSphere thing? I'm thinking they would give you night vision or perhaps increase your senses with haste? Just a request in something my pack is lacking.

Actually I am making multiplayer compatible versions with alternate configurations. In other words, the ALO edition will have you start off and respawn in the Twilight Forest. It will work with the other ones in multiplayer. I would tell you more, but I don't want to spoil the fun.
Guns are a temporary feature until ggo edition is released, so that crafting will eventually be disabled client side. For now I am keeping it true to the entire anime until the seperation starts. As for magic, staves simply fire projectiles. Wielders do not use magic. Of course, this will change in ALO edition, with legit magic.
My above post answers the question. Again, as of now this covers the entire anime. Sorry if this was misleading.
Edit: Stock up on guns and ammo for now if you are playing, they might come in handy when crafting is disabled.
Unless you are on hardcore like I am, this is hard enough to simply survive. Let alone make that much progress.

I've tried using the technic platform to get your modpack. Seemed to load for a very~long time but loaded without crashing though
HOWEVER, as soon as I spawn the whole place around me is pitch black as if I'm deep underwater. Although I'm not underwater...
Tried enabling cheat during survival mode to fly but flying didn't seem to get me anywhere.
Right now all i'm seeing is a dim view of the sun and some wierd group of sims green icons...
Is there a particular step to installing? I think you need a better discription on getting it to work.
No. Reload the world. It should work. If not, get Fastcraft as I said before. It reduces lag 800%.
If problems continue, allocate more ram. It should take a while to generate the world as it is full of structures.

Could you perhaps create another mod, more SAO centralized, with a Nerve Gear Helmet and that AtmoSphere thing? I'm thinking they would give you night vision or perhaps increase your senses with haste? Just a request in something my pack is lacking.
