Never mind! I was just using the wrong url. (But aside from that, would a regular windows PC laptop be more efficient than a laptop for running 150 mods? Because Hexxplore it only runs for five VERY slow secconds before freezing up and forcing me to quit out.
OK, I've downloaded the mod pack now, and could you please make a much easier to understand way of changing the controls? I'm one of those people who simply cannot use WASD for movement, and always uses the arrow keys - so at the moment, I can't get the full enjoyment out of this modpack. Or at the very least offer an alternate options file with the movement keys remapped this way.
I included a mod to help with key assignment, NotEnoughKeys. You can easily remap them yourself using this mod.

It really depends upon the desktop or laptop. Typically average priced laptops aren't as powerful as similarly priced desktops.
I would say however that you can play on a good, powerful laptop just fine. For example I play this pack with 6GB allotted to Technic, all while running a server for the pack on the same computer with 4GB allotted to the server with 512MB for permgen. All that while I still have many windows open and tabs open on my browser. I will say I overheat once in a while lol.
I really like your mod pack, but i think you should make a server for the people that want to play with friends
I would love to make an official server for the pack but I'm afraid I probably don't have enough spare time to keep it up and running well. Since the popularity is growing, there should be servers popping up soon.
If anyone reading intends to start a server let me know and I will gladly post it on my websites/threads if you want.
It was my interpretation that darkzreaper123 wanted a server client for people to use, although I don't know if you've provided one
Yep,I provided it for darkzreaper123 on the Technic Forums. It is also on the Technic Platform page for Hexplore-It. I haven't had time to update the OP here with the new info but I hope to get to it later this evening.
I'm getting a problem Bizz, when i try to play it, it opens Hexplore-it but there is no Window that pops up, then Hexplore closes and the Technic launcher comes back up.
I am using a Mac and I really want to play this modpack :).

I'm not good with mac support but this sounds like a memory issue since you are crashing right back to the launcher. How much RAM do you have Technic set to use, and how much RAM does your mac have available?

Hmm should be working then... Next try to update Java. If that is up-to-date. I will need to see a crash reports or possibly the "ForgeModLoader-client-0" contents.

I got it working after I updated Java. I played for about an hour and really having fun! Thanks Bizz!
To start off, I'd like to say that this is a spectacularly well put together collection of mods. I highly recommend an rpg/adventure texture pack to anyone who plays, especially the jungle ruins pack. It actually feels like I'm looting treasures in ancient ruins, and it seems most 16/32x packs look decent alongside the mod blocks and items
I have yet to encounter any id conflicts or similar problems I often see in packs like this, and I applaud your hard work in the painstaking process that is editing config files to make everything run smoothly. However, I do seem to have a major problem regarding mob spawn. The frequent dungeons keep the gameplay pace steady, but when mining or in the wilderness at night I encounter almost NO naturally spawning hostile mobs outside of the occasional WaM mummy or knight, which I found very dissapointing considering I was quite eager to face some challenging grimoire, lycanites and dungeon mobs. I have loads of epic weapons and equipment, and even the special and infernal mobs that come from dungeon spawners pose little threat anymore. Anyone else have this problem, and is there a way I can fix it while I wait for future updates?

Sounds great, if you do make sure to post back so we can see it!
