Prepare to enter a brave new world. A world full of danger. A world full of magic. A world full of decorative blocks. Beyond the title screen lie many challenges and many
mystical ways to conquer them.
This is a mod pack that is very centered on the idea of progression. No major mod will give you everything right away. Only through research, practice, and exploration will you be able to master even one of the many tools and magics available to you in this world.
A big feature of this pack is "Iguana Tweaks", which adds a progression system to Tinkers' Construct. This mod is very configurable, so feel free to use the config file to adjust the difficulty to your heart's content.

I had the old license here for versions prior to 48.2.0, but then I accidentally deleted it while rearranging this post. So now I'm letting you do whatever you want with them. Decompile them, change my name to your own, upload them somewhere else, and make millions of dollars off them, if you want. And no, you don't have to ask me to make a port or a modpack. Provide a link to this forum post
Properly credit the author, Benimatic

Remove the mod from your pack if I specifically request it
Thaumcraft 4
You want Thaumcraft in your mod pack? All you need to meet are five simple conditions: 1. Your mod pack needs a link back to this forum post. 2. You cannot make any money off of the mod pack. 3. You cannot claim that you made any part of the mod, and you must give credit to the author of the mod (Azanor). 4. If I ever ask you to remove my mod from your pack, for whatever reason, you do so. 5. Handle any queries and bug reports internally first. This is one of the main reasons I had such a strict anti-modpack policy for such a long time - people using modpacks would come here posting errors that have nothing to do with my mod or that have been fixed ages ago, but still occurs in the modpack because it is using an older version.
If these five conditions are met, then you have my permission to use it in a mod pack.
Public Server
There are (or will be) two servers running this pack. One of them will only be online Friday evenings; this is the one Svartulf and I will be playing/recording on. The other will be open constantly; this one will be moderated by Svartulf and I, but we won't be playing much if at all.
A dedicated forum post for the servers can be found here:
i would add ender storage or backpacks, preferably both.
I will look into backpacks, though Tinkers' Construct and Ars Magica both have ways to add extra portable inventory. And while I absolutely love Ender Storage, we couldn't get it to play nice with the rest of the mods, unfortunately.
While reading i can already feel the lag i highly dought that this modpack will work on low-ende/ not Super high-end pcs just say'in
Disable shaders and use the config files included in the pack and you shouldn't have any more trouble running the modpack than you would vanilla minecraft. Granted, the Revamp mod has some PC intensive features, but those are disabled or dialed back in our setup.
Do let us know if that isn't the case. We've been testing it for a while with no issues, but if you run into something, we'd like to know about it.
Heyyyy I am makin an auto installer for you! Make everything easier!
Awesome, thank you! Please take care not to add Thaumcraft, Better Grass and Leaves, or Infernal Mobs, as those mod authors prefer people to download their mods directly from their respective pages.
We wanted to include Harken Scythe, but sadly it's not updated for 1.6.4 yet. Maybe eventually. We left out Mystcraft because the linking books lagged up our server, and the linking book system undermines the fast travel systems implemented by some of the other mods in our pack. The other ones we'll take a look at, thanks for the suggestions.
Thanks for looking out for the mod authors, I'm sure they appreciate it too.
Rest assured, we've very carefully read the sections concerning modpack permissions for every mod we included, and have already spoken with the mod authors who require written permission, and everything was cleared before we posted the download. There is, in fact, a more detailed credits list in the modpack download, but you raise a good issue: it could be more obvious on our site. We certainly don't want to step on any toes. We'll take another look at the requirements and ask the authors how they'd like their credits listed and update the site if it's necessary.
That being said, relaaaax. Deep breaths. It's generally good policy to confirm those dire assumptions before you threaten to flag a post. Maybe there are some jerks out there, but believe it or not, we've been very careful not to go against the wishes of the mod authors.
Don't worry about needing them to download from the respective pages because the installer retrieves the files from their respective pages But I can't do Thaumcraft like you said xD And if you make it a .zip instead of rar then more people can download it.
I can't install NEI and CodeChicken with the installer because of the way they have their file system set up. Soooo yeah. But since it isn't a main mod it's kinda ok.
FINISHED THE INSTALLER!!!! It includes everything but Thaumcraft and the mods you said like Infernal Mobs and Better Grass and Leaves. I will actually add Better Grass and Leaves. I looked at copyright information. As long as you give creds for Better Grass and Leaves, u can use it for whatever. It gives advanced permission.
Yes, anyone can say anything, so why would saying it a slightly different way help? Also, every license is available on the modders' respective pages, every one of which I have linked to.
Like Svartulf said, I appreciate that you're looking out for the modders. I also imagine you're attempting to look out for us as well in your own way. But if you're going to make these claims as to what we supposedly need to do, I'd appreciate it if you could back them up by showing some formal requirement somewhere.

while running around i build up a lot of inventory very fast and would like to have extra storage
also, thaumic tinkerer (check it out, maybe put a link underneath the thaumcraft one)
The friend I play with has in no way a super high-end PC. He has had a couple moments, I admit, but overall it's been very playable for him.
All I see on the list that could need a high end pc is the shaders, which are graphical only.
Feel free to send questions and comments my way as well.

The permissions thing is slightly confusing, but I think it essentially means you need a link back to the main thread.
