I love this! Especially the fact you can pick out the ones you want! I've been looking for a mod that just makes visible fish. So, there's a suggestion!
Hey there! Came across a bug with the Quiver, not sure if it's been reported already but it's a pretty simply repeatable one:
Whenever you take a fully upgraded quiver, put it into the crafting GUI, and surround it entirely with leather (as one does to upgrade it), the game crashes.
I've got a crash report here - running pretty heavy on mods, so let me know if it's a mod conflict issue or just your mod, and if so, please look into fixing it. Thanks for the great mods, they're really top notch fits-in-vanilla type stuff! Keen to see your Carts mod fixed too. Good luck with life!

I was surprised to see that the modpack didn't come with a configuration if we wanted most mods, but not all. I'm not big on 22 downloads when I can get them all in 1, especially if I'm able to turn off the 2 mods that don't especially fit into my gameplay.
Other than that, I'm really enjoying the mods. Keep up the good work.
if you want to only remove 2 mods, just go into the modpack, and into : com/minecraftplus/
and in there you can delete any folder, respective to their mod counterpart, that you wish to remove.
If you need more detailed instructions, just pm me.

When you post a mod: "No pics no clicks" and "MCreator = bad ~99% of the time"
I hope it's a bug. I am playing with some mods (~70) and MC+BattleHeart (v.1.1.1) is not working: I am level 12 and I keep my 4 heart from spawning. Why?
The original post says you're supposed to sleep to trigger the next heart, but I wasn't able to get it to work, either. (Ultimately decided that, with the new mobs I'm putting in, 4 hearts isn't enough life to survive the first night.)
To medsal15:
ShadeDaystar is correct, you must sleep to "levelup" your health.
To ShadeDaystar:
You weren't able to get it to work? Can you explain your situation?
To castleHunter:
I am a bit tied up with school right now, but I am trying to keep up with the bugfixes when i can. Updating the mod page and putting up those pictures are also at the top of my todo list. It just may take a while to get around to it, but it will be done.
To Balketh:
Hm. I am unable to repeat that crash. Perhaps another mod is causing this?
To ShadeDaystar:
You weren't able to get it to work? Can you explain your situation?
It may have been a minor conflict between mods. I'm testing a bunch of mods together to try to assemble a selection for a small multiplayer server for myself and some friends. When I was showing my boyfriend (one of the people who'll be joining the server) Battle Hearts to get his opinion, I hadn't wanted to spend the time to legitimately earn the exp. I used creative mode to spam xp bottles to get 19 levels, and then didn't want to wait until sundown, so I used the cheat code to set time to night. One of the other mods I'd had installed at the time was Somnia, which also wasn't working as expected, it seemed to rather pause the game when I was in the bed, rather than fast forwarding it while simulating changes as it should.
At any rate, I couldn't get the fifth heart from sleeping, and since we decided 4 hearts to start would be too little health (in our case, not as a general point), we didn't really dig deep to figure out what was causing the issue.
Although, out of curiosity; does it consume the five levels to level up? And does dying after earning more hearts remove hearts?
To ShadeDaystar:
Battlehearts may be incompatible with Somnia mod. Taking "shortcuts" to get more hearts should be fine. And Your hearts level with your xp, it does not take it away. so at level 5, if you go to bed you should be at 5 hearts. Level 10 with 6 hearts and so on. Every 5 levels = 1 Heart. However after death, since you lose all your xp, your health goes away too. That was in place so you couldn't just go up to level 5, die and repeat the process to get your health maxed out (though there not currently any limit to how many hearts you can obtain....). I will try to see if I can make the mod compatible with Somnia mod. Thanks for replying so quickly!

I seem to have an issue with the Satchel mod, I've Really[/i] Wanted to use it in 1.7.10, and I have a few other mods installed. Everything runs fine until I put the satchel mod in. I know it sounds like it's clashing, but I've tried removing all other mods too. I just don't know what happened...
Battle hearts work fine, however I dont like the "You die and lose your hearts" mechanic.
Also, Ive never found a single sweet potato, so configuration to increase chances would be nice.
Oh Snap. I found that if you get rid of EXP through LiquidXP or Opeblocks XP Drain, you also lose hearts youve gained.
This is silly.
Really need some configuration going on around here.
Hey Andy, I've been working on a massive mod build and incorporated several of your mods into it. Something is throwing up problems and I'm working on narrowing it down so it's possible it's not your mods, but one of the behaviors seems to strongly indicate a problem with your Treecapitator-like mod.
The first time I added a bunch of mods and hopped onto a new world, I cut down a couple trees -- that was neat -- but then when I tried to cut down one more, which was slightly larger, it was as though I'd lost connection to the server. Items were on the ground but I couldn't pick them up. I could break other blocks but they wouldn't drop things (even sand wouldn't drop sand). Couldn't attack creatures; it was as though they weren't even there. And then when I tried to shut Minecraft down, it did a stall on "closing down internal server."
I tried a couple things, and then I took out almost every mod from the stable build I'd had before that so I could see if it was one of the new mods or a combination that was throwing things. And I started a new world (Biomes o' Plenty world, by the way; I know BoP is fairly stable and it's a major part of my builds). There was some extreme lag out of nowhere, and when I tried to cut down a big tree (several pieces thick and maybe a dozen blocks high), it threw a bunch of blocks everywhere but didn't really cut down anything except maybe a couple blocks. I was still able to cut more blocks but they didn't drop anything, and the items that had flown everywhere (logs, saplings, apples) were ghost items that I couldn't pick up. And there was the same error when I exited.
Again, not sure if this is your mod, some other mod, or a combination somewhere, but thought I'd let you know. I don't have a crash report or anything because it never actually crashed; I had to shut it down with Task Manager each time.
P.S. Did someone there say you went down to regular number of hearts when you died? I would like this to be a config option, because I want to gain hearts and have them stay for the rest of the game.
Though, I'd love to be able to set up specific mobs who could "drain a level" as it were, so that if they killed you, you lost a certain number of hearts (and maybe you could set it so that if that specific mob killed you, you lost all hearts). So like, Mo' Creatures wraiths could level-drain 2 hearts, and the Wither could set you back to zero, but any other deaths would leave your hearts as-is. Or there could be a setting where dying made you lose 1 heart, even if that put you below the starting hearts, so that if you had only one heart left and you died, it would be as if you'd been playing Hardcore and you couldn't get back on the level

Hey Andy, I've had to roll back my mod pack to 1.7.2 to include one of the mods that is throwing a loop in everything else (but is such a cool mod I hate to leave it out: Underground Biomes). Any chance you could put together a 1.7.2 version of some of your mods? Specifically, I'm after BattleHearts, Fossils, and Wooden Bucket, and maybe Wild Animals.
I'd be happy with the ones above (especially BattleHearts), but if you're feeling up to making a lot of 1.7.2 versions, this is the list of ones I was also trying to add to my mod pack: Firepit, Loose Stone, Lumber, Saw, Sickle, Shatter, Trapped Ladders, Turtles, and Gems.
Also: I haven't gotten to the point where I could try out your Sickle, but could you make it like the Harvest Moon sickle, where you harvest 9 blocks at a time (assuming they're ripe)? Spin in a circle and harvest all 8 blocks around you plus the one you're standing on. That'd be awesome.

Finally got the multiplayer mod build working (without too many crashes) and got to enjoy it with my nephews last night. One of my nephews was excited by the prospect of earning extra hearts, but given how often he dies (from charging into areas he is ill-prepared for), he was horribly disappointed that you lose your hearts when you die.
I'd really like to see a config about the loss mechanic when you die, and soon:
Go back to starting level of hearts.
Lose X hearts, but never get reduced below the starting level.
Lose X hearts, and can be reduced below the starting level; losing your last heart works just like Hardcore. Maybe in 1.8 it'd knock you into Spectator Mode.
Don't lose any hearts.
Gain X hearts, thus making it easier for you next time (way too easy for my blood, but still an option for some).
And the idea occurs that this could easily be done via tiers, where each player starts in a specific tier and can be moved (by an op, or perhaps by finding a specific item or reaching a specific level) to other tiers. Thus in one setup, newbies start at #4 and veteran players get #2. In another, newbies start at #2 while normal players get #1 and veterans get #3. Maybe there's a point in a custom server where you have the option to get a super-cool item, but it irrevocably sticks you in "hardcore mode" #3. I don't know how difficult this might be to code or keep track of.

The original post says you're supposed to sleep to trigger the next heart, but I wasn't able to get it to work, either. (Ultimately decided that, with the new mobs I'm putting in, 4 hearts isn't enough life to survive the first night.)
To warthog1942:

Currently Working on several Map projects.
My YouTube channel is currently on hiatus, but I hope to get back to it at some point. Content is fairly random, but can be enjoyable, and is mostly game footage (mostly random Minecraft clips) from my nephews and me. Most popular MC vid so far is the one Vechs laughed at on Twitter!

I'd really like to see a config about the loss mechanic when you die, and soon:
