Hi guys! The reason why i haven't and can't update, if you guys haven't realized yet, is that Forge itself has not yet updated, neither is MCP the last time i checked. So I can't do anything until they are released for the public. If you want to read more about it here is a link to LexManos's post: link.
Until then, I will prepare for an all-night-er once forge hits to get it to you guys as soon as possible.
To MUSHROOMSOCK:
Sure. I will probably group them in different categories (like Food, Tools, Etc), and these "modpacks" will be updated less frequently but more stable.

Added a bit of a sneak peek for you guys! A very small one though, trying to keep things as a surprise.
IMPORTANT: I will update once Forge and MCP updates. Until, then the modding community is at a standstill. Hope you guys understand that I can't mod without either of those things...

So this may be a little odd to ask since you were talking about 1.7.2, but do you think you will be making any of these available for 1.6.4? I'd really like the turtles on there
UPDATE! MC+ PACK - DEVELOPMENT I
Latest development updates for 1.6.4 (For you, Calantor)!
Includes all mods that are currently updated and not being constantly poked at.
NOTICE:
If you haven't yet noticed in the development build, there are missing a few mods, one of which is MC+ Lock mod. I realized that there was a fatal bug in this mod, sadly, and I may not be able to fix this one, since requires some fundamental changes to how Minecraft client/server relationship works. As of currently, MC+ Lock mod is no longer updated. Sorry!
Also the short-lived MC+ Leaflet mod is also discontinued. This may come back; the reason for this is because I felt it didn't quite fit with Minecraft yet, when it does, I will bring it back.

This is just a random idea, but my sister and I play together, and we both like the turtles ability to be tamed and hold stuff and be picked up and what not. Then my sister suggested being able to ride the turtles would be awesome. Also she wants more cute pets other than just the turtles, do you have any other pet mods?
To Calantor:
Yea, my sister is the exact same thing. And she has some really good ideas from time to time.
I'll see what I (or she) can come up with! If you have any ideas, feel free to pitch in.

And many mods have been updated, so try out the newer version! (MC+ Cart is not out yet. Still fixing a very annoying bug...)
Most noticeably is probably that MC+ Satchel has an Ender version, and the ability to expand inventory has been removed. Also, MC+ Clay Tools are back! But this time it uses Stained Clay in preparation for the Mesa biome in 1.7!
Have fun! And a HAPPY NEW YEAR! (It's also my birthday. Wooo!)

To Calantor:
Great ideas! I will be sure to add you to the special thanks when the mod is completed! I usually make small animals, because bigger creatures glitch too much. Thanks for the ideas!
And to everyone, I am struggling really hard in making these textures. If anyone would like to work with me as a texture artist or a modeler, please pm/email me! ([email protected]). Send me a piece of your work if you can, because we all have different art styles / tastes!

NOTICE: I know 1.7.2 is out, and I am working as much as I can on it. However, I am hesitant to release mods when Forge has yet to release a stable version to the public. It looks like Forge is releasing a new version every few days...
On the other hand, I have ported most mods over to new 1.7, with the exception of a few new mods that I was meaning to release for 1.6.4. BUT! there is a major pestering bug in the Turtle, Loom, Cart, Satchel, Quiver, DayCounter and Gift (and maybe a few other I forgot). For a more indepth description continue below (if you can help please continue too ).
So progress, yes. But not to the point of release. Sorry. I am trying my best. Maybe a few more weeks.
And last thing: Since I am busy fixing / waiting for the new Forge, should I continue releasing versions for 1.6.4? Do you guys like the "pack" downloads, or the old file per mod? Or both?
Any suggestions on what I should continue towards? Items? Nether? Redstone?
(Not animals, I am working on that right now. Thanks for the ideas Calantor :D)
In-Depth Coding Problems
Okay, so Containers / NBTTags in 1.7.2 seem to be on strike. Data saved to registered tile entities are lost, containers are not responding server side...did something change dramatically with how tile entities and data saving work? I realize that many methods for saving certain types of tags are gone, which are replaced by number ids. Also, with further debugging, I noticed that in my gui the slots are not synced server side, even though the container is created through the gui handler server side. Is there something else that need to be registered?
Another problem, would be the new Netty System / Packet Handling. Is there a Forge "modder's" changelog somewhere?
If this doesn't make any sense, I have a post elsewhere that actually has the code. Thanks for reading!

These mods are excellent, especially the loom and the satchel. Like a cheating cheater-pants, I attempted to put a satchel inside another satchel (infinite russian doll satchels, anyone?), but found that it cannot be done! XD
How does the gift box work? I found it in my creative inventory but the only interaction seems to be "eating" it. Also, is the recipe for the loom specific to those types of wood? I tried to make one with just jungle wood and it didn't work. The turtle is cute, but didn't follow me after I tamed it for some reason (I tried clicking on it in case it was sitting, but still no movement).
For ideas, I would love to see more things like the loom that are decorative as well as functional--how about a "trapped" bookcase similar to the trap ladder (for secret doors)? Any kind of medieval furniture or decorations would be great too, especially if it's geared more towards shops and houses rather than castles.
You cannot post a guide for the newer mods? I have no idea what the "Gift" does or how to craft the wooden bucket or how to craft day counter.
Also, the Day Counter seems to display the day number wrong. It flickers when you move or look at it in different ways. It should have a more solid display.
Until then, I will prepare for an all-night-er once forge hits to get it to you guys as soon as possible.
