I'm sorry, but the fix chrismack mentioned cannot be released as it is unstable and conflicts with many mods. We are working hard to design a stable fix that can be released to the public... and remove the fly drift. Sorry about the inconvenience.
YAYZ. Thanks so much! Any ETA? (I know I am being very annoying, but I am a little too persistent with some things :smile.gif:
when i use the mod pack the Minaptics acts really weird, When i zoom in it goes into slow camera mode. I believe it is zombe that causes it. (Atleast i think it's that that causes it)
I know I'm EXTREMELY late with this, but I was reading through the posts and found this. I have had similar problems, but here is how to fix it (this worked for me): open your inv., press whatever key you have assigned to ZOOM and close your menu. Look all of the way down until it says 'Smoothing Disabled, even while zoomed'. Open your inv., press the assigned key again, close your inv. and you should be good to go! The smoothing is enabled by default which is why that happens. The mod, as far as I know, is still in development, and he may still fix this. I hope this helps!
A bit of a bump.
I Love this pack. However, I get a strange bug with this and VoxelAir. In the cases where fall damage should be canceled (using the feather with VoxelAir and flying with VoxelFly), I get the cumulative fall damage whenever I touch the ground, even when I descend incrementally. This often results in me dying every time I want to get a full view of whatever I'm making.

You invade this world claiming it as your own simply by your presence.
You slaughter animals for their hides and flesh.
You destroy the landscape and gouge out the earth to build your monuments to vanity.
And yet you call me monster.
Will this work if I have an already modded minecraft.jar file? On a mac (I know, not too much of a fan of it either) and it keeps telling me that there isn't a minecraft.jar file in bin, which there is. I'm guessing it's because I have a few mods installed already and some of them might not be compatible. Do I have to reinstall the mods that I have and make a new minecraft folder? Any help would be much appreciated.
BTW- mods I have installed currently are: Zombe's modpack, optifine, macro/keybind, TMI, WorldEdit/SPC, and modloader. I'm pretty sure that's it.

Yes, It will work. However, you must select the .minecraft folder as a whole, not just the bin (i.e: just click on 'minecraft' once without opening it.). Hope this helps!
when using the installer, everything is fine and dandy until i hit "next". When i do, i beleive the page that is supposed to be displaying the mods just comes up blank. It would be great if someone could help me out of this situation. I am using a mac running OS X 10.6.8, Thank you.

This is probably caused by a corrupted or not properly extracted download. Try redownloading it and ensure that you properly extract the .zip file
FACT: The VoxelModPack is now in the Technic Launcher.
Yes, yes it is. The classic installer will continue to be updated as many people prefer it over the Technic Launcher. In addition, The VoxelModPack Team itself remains a separate entity from the Technic Team.
I am not sure if this was already answered, but when i download voxelmodpack, i download and install everything correctly as far as i know, but when i open minecraft up, it has this annoying thing in the middle of the screen that comes up when i try to play. this is what comes up:
ZMod: errors detected - one or more mods affected
First error: failed to load configuration from config.txt
Log: /Users/bob/Library/Application Support/ minecraft/mods/zombe/log.txt
BTW i am trying to download/install it on a macbook.

We have just released an updated version of the ModPack the automatically patches Zombe's Mods configs for you. Please re-download the ModPack and install it to correct your problem
The chat bubbles don't show up for me, any ideas why?
Various server chat plugins can break the simple client-sided parsing the client uses to turn chat messages into bubbles. We will soon be publicly releasing a VoxelPlayer bukkit plugin that servers can use to sidestep around this problem.

I've been wondering that myself.

Many people have reported being able to use optifine with the modpack if they un-check mcpatcher during installation.
