So my forge for 1.8.9 is not showing up mods that are .zip files even if I convert them in .jar like lucky block pink but its showing me mods that were .jar when I downloaded them like lootplusplus can anyone help?
Already have it only shows 2 mods which are the lucky block mod and lootplusplus they were the one that i downloaded as .jar and every other .zip mod just doesnt work even if i convert them

Even if they are not shown, they should work anyway
Test it with a new world in creative and check for its content

Check your .minecraft folder
There should be a /addons/lucky_block/ directoy
Put the zip files in there
