(yes it's the tv mod who can play real video files in Minecraft)
It's still under development
You don't have to install any Xuggler or something like this, now it uses FFmpeg and'll download it automatically
Currently supported MC versions: 1.7.10, 1.8.9, 1.9.4, 1.10.2, 1.11.2, 1.12.2
(If you think it's another joke, just download and try it by yourself, and if it doesn't work, report it to the Issue Tracker or ask for support)
This is a fork of GotoLink's updated version of the TV Mod
It uses FFmpeg instead of Xuggler now, which increases video playback performance.GotoLink GitHub: https://github.com/GotoLink/paraknight

Public Bug Tracker
My tv keeps flashing after I right-click it with the remote.
I seem to be doing everything right:
- I put the ffmpeg video in the TV folder
- I put the tv mods in the mods folder
- I tried downloading Xuggle
It would be appreciated if you could help!
The fork now uses FFmpeg instead of Xuggler to decode videos.
Download FFmpeg (http://ffmpeg.zeranoe.com/builds/win64/shared/ffmpeg-3.3.2-win64-shared.zip), open the archive, go into ffmpeg/bin and copy all the exe and dll files into the game folder (.minecraft)
Thank you so much! It works like a charm
what if you use a mac? should i be using an ffmpeg component/bianary?
You should install FFmpeg that's available on PATH from Command Line
Try this: https://evermeet.cx/ffmpeg/ffmpeg-3.3.4.7z and unpack the contents of the archive into .minecraft
Version 1.3.4:
