thanks for the info. i recognise this. its something to do with arrows that no longer have owners when my mod checks if its valid dmg to a lizardman (ie stalkers cant hurt other stalkers with their arrows). were you able to log straight back in?? anyway, ill look into it. any info you have about what was happening at the time would be great: eg. were there a lot of lizardmen about, the green ones with bows particularly, skeletons... anything that can help me try to force the crash.

I actually wasn't paying a lot of attention when it happened so I'm not sure what was going on, and it crashed the server. I can't get reconnected because it instantly just crashes the server when someone joins, and I was just in a test world at the moment so the fact that it corrupted the world isn't a big deal, yet. It would be different if it was a world we'd spent months playing on though, so I wanted to report it just in case it comes up again.

Any luck on finding a fix on this? It seems that whenever the lizardmen are hit by an arrow in a certain direction, the crash happens that I mentioned before. I can post a fresh report if you need it but it's the exact same thing and I've been able to reproduce it a few times.
my apologies, i forgot all about this; i got focused on 1.12 issues and new additions. looking at your previous crash report i notice the version is not the latest 1.7 version. i dont think it will, help, but if you would try the 1.0.7b available, that'd be great. outside of that, i will look into it.

Yeah, 1.7.10 version. I tested by rolling back to the 1.0.7b version and we no longer have any issues (other than the arrow thing).
I checked my server, and it's still sitting at 16gb which is what it's always been, so I'd have to say the allocation was not reset to my knowledge. It's hosted on the west coast by someone as a favor to me, but never touches the thing. Just leaves it going for me to use.
It's possible there's nothing wrong with your mod but this is where my tests so far have lead me. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
it could be a mod conflict rather than solely with mine. anyway, i have uploaded a new 1.7 version with a more recent forge version. give that a shot, although i'm not expecting much. no actual changes have been made.
Soooo my friends and I are using this mod on our 1.12.2 server right now.
We entered the Jungle Dimension and started travelling towards 0, 0 since we all spawned at a different location
Now we did end up there and we managed to kill the Tyrant. Now we have the skull, the eye and some of those carved bones but we don't know if we can do anything with them now. We also haven't found a way to create sapphires from the raw ore.
I'm really confused as to what we can do with this mod and how everything works.
We would also love if you could find a way to implement the new biomes into a vanilla world because we're using a hired server and can't change the world generation there so it's impossible for us to use 'Meincraft Jungle' world.
We're not really having any issues other than that we don't know what we can do with the mod and what there's to be found. It would be a shame if we miss a lot of content just because we don't really know what to do. We did get 3 out of the 4 books that are in the mod but finding everything that is told there is to be found isn't easy XP
When you say you spawned at different locations, do you mean you all went through the same portal but appeared at different coordinates?
Acquiring soul sapphires requires a very… soft touch. Hint hint. :-)
The eye and skull are rewards for killing the Tyrant. The carved bone is used in several crafting recipes, particularly the armour.
Have you found The Wall? On a vanilla world gen, you'll need to locate a fresh swamp biome.
As far as biome gen goes: the two new biomes are jungle variants, but if they are part of a vanilla world gen they will not show up connected to jungles. The only structure that won't show up is the full-blown village. However, a heavily ruined smaller temple will spawn in regular swamps.
All in all, if you complete the achievements that come with the mod, you will have seen everything the mod has to offer. I'm currently working on an update that will add new things.
An update for 1.12 introducing a handful of new creatures. From this point on I will be working on a 1.13 version. Please see original post for further information.

New version available for 1.12.2 fixing reported compatibility issues.
currently working on some additions to the mod. long term plan is a completely separate mod for hills.

May you add the option to turn off custom fog for 1.7.10 too? It's perfectly understandable if you don't want to.
