LittleMaidMob Enhanced is another version of the LittleMaidMob that is taking a bit of a different direction than the other developers of the mod. This version aims to increase compatability, stability and add a bunch of features that allow your maid to do more and let you control more of what they do. As it currently stands this fork is abandoned, do not expect anymore updates on this page.
The feature list so far is not that different than the other versions but I can boast a few things:
Aether II support. (To a mostly playable extent)
All maids will go out of their way to pick up tools related to their jobs if they see them on the ground, some of them will in addition pick up items that are a result of their job, such as Rippers picking up wool.
Miner Maids, Maids that mine any ore that their current pickaxe can mine.
Forge Style config with in-game settings.
You can mute the maids.
Maids will spawn in mod biomes based upon the biomes type.
TriggerSelect has more options and a search bar.
Check out the GitHub for the Wiki, and source code.
I also recommend you check out Kuroneko87's page for more information about the mod.
I really need to test 1.4.3 on multiplayer (mainly with using additional models) but I don't have enough computers right now to actually test whether or not it works. I encourage anyone who's downloading 1.4.2 or 1.4.3 to provide feedback on whether or not they could get it to work in multiplayer, it really helps.
Also if anyone knows of an add-on that adds a new maid mode please link it to me, I need to make sure that AImode add-ons work as well.

I looked around the Japanese Minecraft forums and i found a few addons (+ tons of skins) on their wiki. Sadly no ai addons that I want (I really want a crafting or farming addon for my maids). But they might be useful for you. https://github.com/asiekierka/littleMaidMobX/wiki

Awesome fork I love the fact that maids can now mine. I can now automate my mining with cute girls :3 Can I make a few suggestions though?
1) You should check if the tool has an enchant or what have you. That way fortune and silk touch will work
2) Make it work with the Terra Shatterer from Botania when it's activated
3) Give the maids ticking inventories, so you can use mana steel tools with a mana tablet, or tools with repair and a thaumcraft wand (Goes back to the enchant thing )
4) Implement the tasks Asura mentioned ;P
5) Whitelist for blocks that can be mined via config, this way people can tell maids to mine things from Metallurgy or Thermal Foundation for example
Fortune and Silk Touch enchantments should be working with the maids if they are not we might have a problem.
Right clicking a maid with a book and clicking the TriggerSelect button, will allow you to define various mod items as ores or tools.
Farmer maids are in the works, if you go and compile the beta source right now you can get a preview of what those are like, it is a port from NX and it is very untested (and untamed).
If ticking inventory is something somewhat standard and doesn't require any special calls to Thaumcraft, I should be able to implement it, the issue that some people seem to forget is that when you make code that adds whatever feature for a specific mods it can often break the game for those who don't have that mod, but going through the inventory every tick and calling some standard method sounds reasonable to me.
The crafting maid brings up a good point that needs to be sorted out, the current crafting maids are the cook and the pharmacist, the cook works fine because all she needs to do is put stuff in the smelter and let it cook. The Pharmacist on the other hand cycles through her inventory using anything that will work to make a potion, which leads to usually less then desirable outcomes. If a crafting table based maid were to be made there would have to be some way for the player to instruct them on what to make and how much of it to make. I have a few ideas for this, but they are all pretty far off in the time scale.
I'm also sort of here to apologize that there hasn't really been a formal update for a while. I'm settling in to a new full-time job and this has prevented me from having the time to really do anything. The next update might actually be version 2, Blood Sucker/Blazing Star mode will be defined from the maids inventory and TriggerSelect will be accessible from there as well; and a lot more. It will probably be a while until the so stay tuned.
Nice work on this. I couldn't get some of the other branches to even work. You mentioned you were shooting for mod comparability so, I thought I'd mention that the Whistle Mod linked from the Japanese Thread doesn't work. To be honest, I'm not sure what the mod does even after translating the page so, maybe it's not important but, if it's helpful, here's my crash report;

I tried figuring out the incompatibility with the whistle mod but it appears that the compatibility Transformer is unable to change direct pointers to the classes themselves, this feature may be available in a new version of Forge or it may never be. I can say that the compatibility Transformer class can make AI- modes made for older versions work with the newer one.
heyo Legojr, im so happy that you have taken on this mod and me and my friends deleted an entire plain of existence and completely restarted our world to have these lil wonders lol, doing a little testing and was wondering if you could hook battlegear 2 into the maids - getting a crash when they pick up anything related to the mod or if you give them items from it

Testing the latest version of LMM in SMP it seems not everyone can see the maids at the same time dont know whats causing it - imma remove the texture packs and keep testing
Hello, sorry to hear your having problems the Mine and Blade Problem is caused by incompatible classes that have a common parent. Casting errors like this are hard but I may be able to make a work around.
As for players not seeing "the maids at the same time" I am a little confused by what that means, if the maids are disappearing for some players I would check the server and connections to see if any of the players have bad connections or if the server is under too much stress. If that still doesn't work it might be an issue with the code, in which case I'll have to compare mine with Verclene's code to see if I'm doing something wrong. Do you have any maid add-ons installed? If so what are they?
Edit: The solution to the first problem is simple but it is on the Mine and Blade side. I opened a pull request that should be able to add compatibility.
heyo Legojr thank you for looking into the issues - i believe the issue with not being able to see the maid was due to the server being behind as you stated. how do i apply this fix ? in the interum i just had then ignore everything from the mod compleatly i didnt have any addons installed besides teh tons of textures i didnt know there were many for this, i do have a question of 1, naming maids and 2 maid despawning - i had one in my house smelting a buncha ores and she just dissapeared 10 mins later with all the ore lol. we had a chunk loader where she was so i donno if a monster found her to be a taisty morsel but the house is guarded like fort knox, there was no message in chat stating that she had died and it would be prety hard to miss a armored maid and it seems like no option to name the maid appears when taming them or trying to right click them or shift right click them with a name tag, thanks in advance and keep up the amazing work
Hello Legojr. Thank you for your good work. Especially, Aether II support is very good.
But in my minecraft, LittleMaidMobEnhanced crashed with Aether II when Slime touched Maid.
When crash happened, I used only Aether II (ver1.6), gilded-games-util (ver1.9), LittleMaidMobEnhanced(ver1.4.4) and your maid texture add-on.

I tried another kind of damages. But, only Slime caused minecraft crash.
@Mariku_Junrei You can name maids by shift+right click with a name tag. Maids shouldn't typically despawn if they are tamed, I would check your settings in the Forge mod options and see if can despawn is false. I would also check and make sure that the maid had plenty of sugar as maids will go on strike if they do not have sugar in their inventory after so many days; I doubt a monster came took her out as monsters tend to leave maids alone unless provoked. Thank you for your patience with this, this is my first major coding en devour and I don't have too much time I can commit to it.
@nervstaff003 Looks like it might be the combination of Aether II and Gilded-games that caused the issue, but I have had luck Aether and damage calculation with Littlemaid before so it might be fixable on the Littlemaid side rather than the Aether or Gilded-games side.
we are pretty committed to having maids at this point xD ill run a double check on my configs ive been wanting to get into MC modding for a while so if there is anything i can do i would be most happy to help
I rarely play Minecraft anymore but I have on occasion played it with friends. Me and my friends were making a mod pack and were going to play on a server, so I added Buildcraft, Industrialcraft all that jazz and LittleMaidMob. We instantly found that LittleMaidMob broke most of the other mods such as Aether and BattleGear, so we determined to remove those, because no one even liked them that much anyway. But we found them impossible to find. I really liked this mod back in the day and all my friends were kind of excited by all the things I said it could do. So I found the source and started fixing somethings and eventually it came to this. If you want to get started I recommend this page, I wouldn't start out making a mod though I would contribute to other projects first and get a feel for the Forge and Minecraft source first.
Most of the maids don't "blink" anymore? the cirno maid for example, always has her eyes closed.
Also, maids never seem to sit on bibliocraft chairs. I've been keeping an eye on them for nearly 50+ minecraft days and they never sat in the chair. The maids are in freedom mode.
also, why did 1.4.2 and up remove all the new maid models and textures that were built in? edit took a bit of poking around to find the textures but some are still missing like the cirno maid as well as some maids still keeping their eyes closed all the time.. I'll have to stick with 1.4.1
LittleMaidMob Enhanced is another version of the LittleMaidMob that is taking a bit of a different direction than the other developers of the mod. This version aims to increase compatability, stability and add a bunch of features that allow your maid to do more and let you control more of what they do. As it currently stands this fork is abandoned, do not expect anymore updates on this page.
The feature list so far is not that different than the other versions but I can boast a few things:
Check out the GitHub for the Wiki, and source code.
I also recommend you check out Kuroneko87's page for more information about the mod.

Keep up the good work! <3
Thank, adding add-on support has been as tough as a box of nails frozen in ice.
Keep this work up Man! I want to see what will happen in the future!
Thanks again for taking up this mod.
Hey Legojr,
Nice work on this. I couldn't get some of the other branches to even work. You mentioned you were shooting for mod comparability so, I thought I'd mention that the Whistle Mod linked from the Japanese Thread doesn't work. To be honest, I'm not sure what the mod does even after translating the page so, maybe it's not important but, if it's helpful, here's my crash report;

I tried figuring out the incompatibility with the whistle mod but it appears that the compatibility Transformer is unable to change direct pointers to the classes themselves, this feature may be available in a new version of Forge or it may never be. I can say that the compatibility Transformer class can make AI- modes made for older versions work with the newer one.
heyo Legojr, im so happy that you have taken on this mod and me and my friends deleted an entire plain of existence and completely restarted our world to have these lil wonders lol, doing a little testing and was wondering if you could hook battlegear 2 into the maids - getting a crash when they pick up anything related to the mod or if you give them items from it

also if you have any pointers on getting started with modding id love to hear them i really want to get into it
Testing the latest version of LMM in SMP it seems not everyone can see the maids at the same time dont know whats causing it - imma remove the texture packs and keep testing

At last, please excuse my bad English.
Thanks your hard works.
Thank you reply.
Your maid mod is my favorite mod so I hope that the issue is fixable.
If you have enough time to make mods, keep up your good work.
