Hi. I have considered this in the past, but it will not likely come until a future version. (v1.5 or later). Largely because it will require rewriting alot of code that is designed to be "solid" But I might go back someday and make a "1.3.3" patch just for 1.6.4 since I won't be updating 1.6.4 to 1.4 or 1.5 due to the blocks and items and other features those versions add to the mod. Also, not sure what you mean by "editor" for sure but I assume you are talking about an IDE. I use Eclipse
Here comes v1.4.2 with the following changes and fixes:
-Added a Lithuanian translation (Thanks to Zygimantus)
-Fixed the following recipes:
1.) Block of Pellet Fuel to Fuel Pellets
2.) Block of Coke to Coke
3.) Coke to Block of Coke
4.) Can of Slimoline
5.) Concentrated Fuel Pellets to Block of Concentrated Pellet Fuel
6.) Block of Concentrated Pellet Fuel to Concentrated Fuel Pellets
I am working on the 1.8 backport. It is feature complete, has a properly working proxy, has all the items and blocks, has working crafting recipes, a Lithuanian translation and everything else that v1.4.2 for 1.9 and 1.10 has, EXCEPT that I have a model issue where block textures do not show when the blocks are in the inventory, in your hand, or when dropped on the ground. They do, however, show the texture when placed. Anyone willing to help resolve this bug so I can release the 1.8 backport of v1.4.2 would be greatly appreciated.
In further announcements, v1.4+ will NOT be backported to 1.7.10 and less.
I have decided to release a beta build of v1.4.2 for 1.8.9. Due to some issues and code incompatibility, there is only one jar available and it will only work with 1.8.9. Some notes about the jar: While it is feature complete, and features all of the 1.4.1 and 1.4.2 bugfixes including the proxy fix and the lithuanian translation, IT DOES HAVE BUGS. Primarily that blocks do not currently have textures in inventory. Textures currently only show when the box is placed. Also, there is a mcmod.info issue and as a result there is no mod description. Use this build at your own risk, and only report bugs if they are not already identified. Due to this still being a beta, I will leave v1.3.2 of 1.8.9 available for download.
Hello, I am pleased to announce the creation of the More Fuels Mod Wiki on Wikia. This will include many things when it is complete, but currently is aiming at providing item and block information as well as crafting guides to help put an end to the confusion that the new features in 1.4 has created. The wiki currently only has one page but it will grow over the next week. Anyone willing to help would be greatly appreciated. I could also use an official tester or two to go through all of the possible crafting recipes for fuel pellets and test them to make sure the code works. If you are interested in helping in either way, please shoot me an email. Without further ado, here is a link to the new fledgling wiki: More Fuels Mod Official Wiki
Hi guys, thanks for 23,000 Downloads! Never thought the mod would get this far. I am releasing 1.4.3. This build just comes with one simple fix, it adds a crafting recipe for Coal Dust. Speaking of items and recipes, don't forget to check out the new wiki! It has a complete version history and item and block index! Click here to check it out!
I know this sounds absurd, but I found more bugs while building the wiki. Guess what that means? Yet another release to fix them. So without further ado, here is 1.4.4. It fixes crafting recipes and burn times for pellet fuels, concentrated pellet fuels, pellet blocks, and concentrated pellet blocks.
Thanks man! Link me to the pack and I'll add it to the front page. BTW, make sure you use 1.5.0 which I am just now releasing as it adds better realism. Replaced the weird Bitumen smelted from flint with Bituminous Coal ore which spawns about the frequency of coal and drops bituminous coal when mined. Better realism!
Suprise Release! 1.5.0 for Minecraft 1.9.x and 1.10.x will be released WITHIN THE HOUR! Sadly, Minecraft 1.8.x will NOT be supported for v1.5.0 of the mod. Enjoy 1.5.0 - The Ore Update. 1.5.0 is being rolled out as of 9:18 PM EST
I am taking a second look at trying to port the mod to Spigot/Bukkit for servers to use. I last investigated this opportunity early on in development and found it too difficult to tackle if possible at all. I have decided to try to tackle it again. No promises, still looking into whether or not the spigot/bukkit API will allow me to do this. If so, It will be feature complete for v1.3.2 of the mod and servers will be able to have the benefits of that version without needing forge and requiring players to have the mod installed.
Edit: I am also looking into using the Skript Plugin and making a .sk file that would allow for adding custom files. Still a way to get the plugin to server owners, if not as direct. However, I am also not sure if the Skript API will allow for adding custom fuels. Will report back/edit this post when I find out more.
Thank you for 31,000 Downloads, and apologies for the issue in 1.5/1.4 with the Fuel Pellets Block and Concentrated Fuel Pellets blocks not burning at their proper time. To fix this, I am releasing v1.5.1 ASAP to fix the issue. Please update to this version to ensure the proper experience with the mod. Thanks again
I managed to backport 1.5.1 to Minecraft 1.8.9, however it is a release beta purely because I still cannot find a way to get textures for blocks when placed and in inventory working properly, so the textures just show up as missing.
Yes, it is, it is in the configuration file. I can also make you a custom file that has it code-disabled so players cannot enable it if you email me at [email protected]
Hello, my name is Razvan. I'm known by the Minecraft PE community as TheLuckyCoder for creating BlockLauncher Addons. I noticed your mod, and I would like to port this mod to Pocket Edition! I wanted to make sure you were okay with this first though! Reply to this with your answer please
Hey. I have thought of PE before. I would be interested in this and would love to collaborate. However, I request that if this port is made you post any source code on GitHub as the mod and its code use the GNU GPLv3. This means by making a derivative work it must be also open-sourced for improvement. Also, how does the API for MCPE work? There doesn't seem to be a unified modding API that is kept up to date with the launchers that could be used to develop a MCPE mod.
