Why are none of the special or legend abilities in the mod?
There are actually many Special and some Legend abilities (AOE slow, Lifesteal, Wither on Attack, Weakness on Attack, Teleport, Absorb Water). And there are many not found in Inventory Pets (AOE Poison, AOE Fire, AOE Damage, Flame Wall, Scares X, Haste, Instant Health, Satisfy Hunger).
And there are an unlimited amount of updates coming. Personally I thought 50 was a pretty good start

It's so awesome to see my ideas in an actual mod! Holy wow! Ok, how about this one: Spring ability. When used it catapults you really high into the air! This could be really useful for getting up cliffs, but if you're not careful you'll take a lot of fall damage, balancing it out.

Interesting (and fun!) idea. Should have given you proper credit for the biome-based drops idea! Will update the posts
Oh, and let me know what you think of biome (or situation based drops) once you play with it a bit.
Hey! I see you met one of my peeps (GodricTheMighty) lol. He has gone crazy over this mod. He rants about it constantly. Anyway... I wanted to point out another possible bug (or suggestion for compatibility) for your to do list
Custom Pets do not seem to like to eat out of inventory pets feed bag =/ They would rather go hungry than to share with the inventory pets. They are snobs or something lol. But yeah it would be great if i could feed my custom pets from the feed bag

Yeah, this would be great. I was originally planning on this, but it became quite complicated. I'll put it back on the plans, but it's not a quick fix Thanks for the feedback!
i think you shloud add models lie all of the models from your inventory pets mod and also add so you can get the effect up to 4 and add so you can use coal nuggets and custm food you will choose for food for the pet. thx if you will!
The custom pets add a nugget the inventory pets also So you cant craft or do anything with the normal pets unless you remove custom pets ):
Cassarcat, we see no problems here. We were able to feed either nugget to the Pet, craft any of the nuggets, and craft any of the pets with either nugget type. Any else having issues?
Also, if you continue to have problems, you can change the config option to remove nuggets in Custom Pets. That would solve your problem (even though you shouldn't be having one).
Hey PC, loving the Custom pets, only problem the new lovelies seem to not want to eat from the Feed bag... which makes them sad Now if you take the food and put it in your regular inventory then they eat just like they are supposed to.

Yeah, it's on the list for a future update. Not as easy as you would think (without a proper API).

Believe it or not I completely understand. Using my normal programming thought process or maybe my maintainer thought process... Have you tried kicking it?

Yeah, the Feed Bag is something we're working on for Custom Pets. How's that?
you should really add a feature to save your pet onto a database . so if you wanted your pet in a different world you would save onto the database on one world got to a new one open the database select your pet and you get it . you should also make templates or get the people on the minecraft forums to create a pet in a competition the winners should get their pets as templates . i also got an idea about the crafting recipe it should be obsidian in each corners nether star in the middle and the rest filled with diamonds. thank you i really think this will make the mod better and more convenient .

These are really good ideas, Mr_Mooshy. We've talked about the database and winners, and agree it would make the mod even more enjoyable. We are investigating a way to do it (it's quite complicated, let's just put it that way)

That one was suggested already, but didn't rank high enough in the pet contest. However, I still like the idea of a pet that trades with you....
