Really cool block! I was going to make a lucky block mod with lots of cool overpowered drops but i decided to go with a different theme
I was wondering if you could help me a wee bit? I'm making my own Lucky block mod themed around Doctor Who! The rest of my rant is in the spoiler.
but i'm running into a few issues, first of all my towers aren't working (i noticed you made huge 20 block high towers xD) it just sends 1 block down instead of 2 or 5 like it's supposed to. And this seems to be happening with regular towers too... not sure why. Also i'm getting a troll chest Dx (an empty chest that should have a variety of random items such as lucky blocks in it). Any idea how to fix these?
If you want a download to look at the drops.txt file or i could just copy & paste it, since its just regular txt, i would be more than happy to oblige ^^ Hopefully you might be able to give me a few tips on how to properly input and test drops, since i'm not having much luck. I'm just happy it drops anything to be honest...
-Edit-
Well this is embarressing... The chest now works and is no longer trolling me. i suppose just goofed. But i'm still having the tower problem & i'm also still getting nothing as a drop sometimes, and i would really like to fix that Help still needed.
basically it uses several other mods for it's unique drops. these mods all must be in the same version of minecraft to work properly, so i just download this addon, drop it in you're lucky block addons folder, then download all the other required mods listed on the first post. Make sure they are all in 1.8!
thank u so much! i was trying to download Youtubers+ mod for 1.8.9 but all of them were a WIP and thx for telling me about the addon. I thought nobody wood reply to me within a few months!

For me, some examples of the towers are these:
Diamond Tower(Actually closer to the clay tower): group(type=fill,ID=air,size=(1,51,1);group(NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+5;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+10;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+15;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+20;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+25;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+30;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+35;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+40;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+45),type=entity,ID=FallingSand;type=entity,ID=FallingSand,NBTTag=(Block=diamond_block),posY=#bPosY+50;type=entity,ID=LightningBolt,posY=#bPosY+10,delay=5.3)@luck=1
TNT+Redstone Block Tower: group(type=fill,ID=air,size=(1,51,1);type=entity,ID=FallingSand,NBTTag=(Block=redstone_block),posY=#bPosY+5;group(posY=#bPosY+10;posY=#bPosY+15;posY=#bPosY+20;posY=#bPosY+25;posY=#bPosY+30;posY=#bPosY+35;posY=#bPosY+40;posY=#bPosY+45;posY=#bPosY+50),type=entity,ID=FallingSand,NBTTag=(Block=tnt,Data=1))@luck=-1
You can just edit the (Block=) part into another block. The Data part is for the block that has other variants.

Ah i see. Actually i don't i'm gonna be staring at this for 20 more minutes before i understand it all. But thanks very much! i was really confuzled.
At this point not sure which method is better or which one i understand, but both seem to work perfectly fine ^-^
Yup. But it's more easier to write #bPosY=5;#bPosY=10;.....if you want to add same blocks. For my 20-blocks tower, I wrote until #bPosY=100. (Actually making "Rubix Cube" of blocks is easier than this tower, since you can just write "type=fill" once than writing the FallingSand entity code 27 times.)

Hmm ok. I think i understand it... lol whatevs. I'll be sure to try it out and experiment with it a bit more, after i have all my Monster Apocalypse drops finished. i actually had to reference you're code to figure out what i did wrong xD looks like it had something to do with the order i typed it in, but whatever
Can you help? I try getting the block monsters mod. When i get the zip file i drop it into mods, but when i run the minecraft its not there.I get the 1.8 version for 1.8 minecraft.Same happens with these block.Anyone help please?

Firstly, the Fantasia Lucky Block file needs to be into addons/lucky_block folder.
Second, You Need to extract the Block Monster mod folder, then open it. There is a .zip file there. Put that in the mods folder.
Do you have a fantasia lucky block with out the addons folder my addons folder doesn't work. And can you make one with .jar mod for FORGE?
I checked, and I dropped the Fantasia Block folder in my addons, but I have no Fantasia Blocks when I play. Please help!

Could you plz tell me if its in 1.8, 1.8.9, or 1.9!
I've asked this every day now but i stopped because nobody was posting comments anymore
Its for 1.8
basically it uses several other mods for it's unique drops. these mods all must be in the same version of minecraft to work properly, so i just download this addon, drop it in you're lucky block addons folder, then download all the other required mods listed on the first post. Make sure they are all in 1.8!
Good "luck"!
Ha Ha.
thank u so much! i was trying to download Youtubers+ mod for 1.8.9 but all of them were a WIP and thx for telling me about the addon. I thought nobody wood reply to me within a few months!
how did u know about the astral lucky block becuse it came out after this?
I followed Tmtravlr =)

For me, some examples of the towers are these:
Diamond Tower(Actually closer to the clay tower): group(type=fill,ID=air,size=(1,51,1);group(NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+5;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+10;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+15;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+20;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+25;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+30;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+35;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+40;NBTTag=(Block=stained_hardened_clay,Data=#rand(0,15)),posY=#bPosY+45),type=entity,ID=FallingSand;type=entity,ID=FallingSand,NBTTag=(Block=diamond_block),posY=#bPosY+50;type=entity,ID=LightningBolt,posY=#bPosY+10,delay=5.3)@luck=1
TNT+Redstone Block Tower: group(type=fill,ID=air,size=(1,51,1);type=entity,ID=FallingSand,NBTTag=(Block=redstone_block),posY=#bPosY+5;group(posY=#bPosY+10;posY=#bPosY+15;posY=#bPosY+20;posY=#bPosY+25;posY=#bPosY+30;posY=#bPosY+35;posY=#bPosY+40;posY=#bPosY+45;posY=#bPosY+50),type=entity,ID=FallingSand,NBTTag=(Block=tnt,Data=1))@luck=-1
You can just edit the (Block=) part into another block. The Data part is for the block that has other variants.

OhmGee
Tmtravlr is my lucky block inspiration xD
He has probably the 2 best lucky blocks (with custom items & drops made specifically for the block that is) out there!
Ah i see. Actually i don't i'm gonna be staring at this for 20 more minutes before i understand it all. But thanks very much! i was really confuzled.
Sorry, I'm bad at explaining...:(
Do you need extra explanation?

No, i think i got it down. It's all trial and error from here on out.
Cool block texture BTW, very magic-crystal xD
Edit: So i compared so of you're example block drops and the format used in the original lucky block which i added onto:
Original (with added blocks and particles, sounds) :
group(type=fill,ID=air,size=(1,8,1);type=entity,ID=FallingSand,posY=#bPosY+7,NBTTag=(Block=diamond_block);type=entity,ID=FallingSand,posY=#bPosY+9,NBTTag=(Block=diamond_block);type=entity,ID=FallingSand,posY=#bPosY+11,NBTTag=(Block=diamond_block);type=entity,ID=FallingSand,posY=#bPosY+13,NBTTag=(Block=diamond_block);type=particle,ID=happyVillager,size=(1,11,1),particleAmount=2000;type=sound,ID=item.fireCharge.use)@luck=1
you're example (shortened to 4 blocks along with some block replacements, no particles, or sounds)
group(type=fill,ID=air,size=(1,8,1);group(NBTTag=(NBTTag=(Block=dwa:tardis_roof),posY=#bPosY+35;NBTTag=(Block=dwa:tardis_roof),posY=#bPosY+40;NBTTag=(Block=dwa:tardis_roof),posY=#bPosY+45),type=entity,ID=FallingSand;type=entity,ID=FallingSand,NBTTag=(Block=diamond_block),posY=#bPosY+50;type=entity,ID=LightningBolt,posY=#bPosY+10,delay=5.3)@luck=1

I think you put the file in "addons/Loot++" instead of "addons/lucky_block".

-Thanks
Firstly, the Fantasia Lucky Block file needs to be into addons/lucky_block folder.
Second, You Need to extract the Block Monster mod folder, then open it. There is a .zip file there. Put that in the mods folder.
