Trying to get a recent version of the modpack, and your link to the curse page doesn't work. As I look around trying to find it, it seems a lot of the links are broken. Where can I actually find a newer version of it? (I believe there's one for 1.12.2?) The twitch launcher seems to only have the 1.6.4 version.
Thanks for any help you can provide for finding a new version of it somewhere!
Hello, i really like the mod Block Physics. This is one of the or the most realistic mod that was created for minecraft. I'd like to ask if you could make 1.12.2 version of this mod ! The 1.7.10 is great for creating modpacks but it is old and most of the mods updated for 1.12.2 by now. It would be really awesome! THANKS
Anyone using Triumph know how to make an achievement that counts the amount of blocks you pick up to complete the achievement? Let's say for example you want to reward someone for collecting 24 wool.
I have discovered the proper syntax for anyone curious. I don't know why this wasn't present in any of the Triumph examples provided, but here it is, need only these two lines: (The tilde after "24" makes "24" the minimum amount of blocks required to reach the achievement. Without it, exactly 24 blocks must be in the your inventory.)
I am a bit rusty as that was around 2 and a half years ago, but I think it is pretty straight forward. First you need to make sure that the parent code file is present. That parent file is usually named "root.txt"
I'll try to give you an example of what was done. In this example, I have an achievement and reward set to be given when mining carbonado. To my knowledge, all achievements need to be linked to a parent, or it won't work properly.
Example one, the overworld_carbonado.txt file: (I have bolded the parent function)
//Set icon item
setIcon()
//Set title String
setTitle("Carbonado Achieved!")
//Set description String
setDescription("Mine and pick up a piece of carbonado ore. Reward: Adamantem's Fortune +3, with drink, and A LOT of amazing food!")
//Add a parent advancement. The syntax is "modid:folder/path/to/the/advancement/then/filename" addParent("triumph:overworld/root")
//Set the position
setPos(195,17)
//Hide the connection lines, so I can have a pretty shape
hideLines()
criteria = addCriteria("carbonado", "minecraft:inventory_changed")
criteria.addItem()
addRewardFunction("triumph:fireworks")
addRewardFunction("triumph:challenge_completed")
//Adds an item to be rewarded upon completion. Only one of these can be set currently.
addRewardFunction("triumph:Overworld_carbonadoReward")
setRewardItem()
Here is the parent file to these, which provides I'm pretty sure just location data to which tab the achievement is supposed to be listed in:
//This is a root advancement. It is the base advancement for a page. As such, it has no parent and has to set a background.
//Set icon item
setIcon()
//Set title String
setTitle("Overworld")
//Set description String
setDescription("Overworld Achievements")
//Set background String. This is a path to any texture in a resource pack, so you can set it to fun things.
setBackground("minecraft:textures/gui/advancements/backgrounds/adventure.png")
//Set the toast notification in the top right corner of the screen to not show up when this advancement is achieved.
setShowToast(false)
//Set the advancement to not send a chat message when it is achieved.
setAnnounceToChat(false)
//Set the position
setPos(11,17)
//Adds a single location criteria. Since this has nothing specific set, it will be completed the instant the player is added to the world, thus unlocking the page instantly.
addCriteria("location", "minecraft:location")
I don't know if this really helps you though. It sounds more like you want to link one achievement to another using addparent. I find that doesn't work all that well. You are better off providing a unique item (enchantments that are not achievable in vanilla Minecraft, as well as a unique name, and put the enchantments on an item other than equipment or armour) then make the item itself a prerequisite using criteria.additem. If that's not the case, and you are simply wanting to know how to add an achievement (a triumph) to a particular tab, then all you need to do is make a folder under the folder path "triumph/script/triumph" and place in it the achievements you need, and then copy in your root parent file.
I hate to be THAT guy, I know, but I suppose someone has to ask right?
Specifically Triumph, will that be ported to 1.16.5 at all? I enjoyed using that to create questlines in 1.12 and hope to implement it again soon.
Thanks
Considering the general activity of this thread and the overwhelming number of updates keeping up to date with each major version of Minecraft within a matter of days, I estimate that this mod will be ported/updated to MC 1.17 approximately... tomorrow.
I will ask the mod authors if they have any plans at all, though.

So I asked and basically, Superckl says that he may be willing to continue working on the mod(s) if Eyamaz comes back and has some serious time to dedicate.
Blargerist says he has "updating Triumph" somewhere on his todo list, however is currently occupied with other mods and has further plans to work on a modpack as a higher priority.
Eyamaz is someone I do not know a way of contacting and I have no intention to track him/her down.

Hi,
I don't know if this is the right place to ask something about the Topography mod,
but is there any way to change the skybox texture while using BOP world generation?

My mind goes to something like this:
Any idea why this isn't working? It keeps immediately giving me the achievement even if I only have just 1 wool block in my inventory.

how do you use the addParent function in order to link it to another advancement
