Ice and fire's sliver can already be used to make howling moon swords. Just use wolfsbane as the handle and any silver ingot can be used. No further cross compatibility needs to happen.

there's also Unidect for making other sources of silver usable for this (as well as making ores of all types in general work for there respective recipes regardless of source so long as their of the same material type; Ie Bronze from one mod can be used as bronze for every other mod that uses bronze recipes thanks to the way Undect works).
now onto my tangent;
|werewolf hunters as faction the player can join, and werewolf packs that werewolf players can join and or become the alpha of should also be a thing in this mod at some point,
Also expand upon the abilities given to players who are of these particular factions, as is the werewolf kinda feels currently underpowered for the gains given vs the down sides of the role thus far but maybe i'm just be a tad critical here of that.

Really? You think the werewolf feels underpowered? I guess maybe against other mods yes, but a max level werewolf with strength maxed out can 1 shot most vanilla mobs.
hey ive been working on this skin for a custom transformation but i can't for the life of me figure out the beast formation!! I got regular and dire but jeepers creepers it is hard to figure out. can someone lable which is where or make more colour changes so i can see which is what? please and thanks! Wolfsbane Potion is crafted just like regular potions now. Wolfsbane in brewing stand with Awkward Potion(Nether Wart). Cures the player of lycanthropy.
Paw ability
Werewolves start off with one toggleable ability, Paw. In the ability tab of the werewolf menu you can click it and choose which slot of the hotbar you want to keep clear of items. This is useful as quite a bit of skills require nothing in hand.
Leveling
While you're transformed, you'll gain exp for each kill you make based on the heath of entity slain. Each level gives 2 attribute points. Every 3 levels gives 1 skill point. Additionally a player werewolf's base stats and the strength of some abilities are affected by level.
Hunters
Entities that hunt werewolves.
Silver
Silver is available. Ore generation can be disabled in config. Only use for it current is to make a silver sword. Can use other mods silver to craft by using a wolfsbane instead of stick. Werewovles are greatly weak to silver compared to other material, currently only applies to this mod's version of the sword atm. Undead are also weak to silver as a bonus. However silver is very soft and doesn't have much durability.
Moon Pearl
Can reveal the identity of non transformed werewolves close to the holder. A favorite among hunters.
Additional Note
Compared to old version you may notice some abilities missing. Some of these abilities are part of another system that is not fully functional at this time and have been excluded for this version. Part of this is to ensure a clean transition from beta to release. However 3 of them will be temporary unlocked based on level until then. Wolf Form, Night Vision, and Beast Form. The forms have slight stat changes compared to original form, also you cannot wear armor while in these forms, even with the armor skill. Lastly some attributes/stats may have stronger/weaker effects in 0.6 to compensate for the current absent inclination system.

Q&A
Q: Isn't there already a werewolf mod?
A: Yes, there have bit quite a bit of unfinished, unreleased, and not updated mods of this kind with the exception of one mod. Witchery, which is a great mod you should check out. But this mod is standalone solely focus on werewolves and handles lycanthropy differently.

Really? You think the werewolf feels underpowered? I guess maybe against other mods yes, but a max level werewolf with strength maxed out can 1 shot most vanilla mobs.
for some reason when i use the 1.11.2 version when i turn into a werewolf, i can't deal damage to things...
edit: forgot about the weakness effect
is a great mod, i do a little (Review/Tutorial) in spanish, i hope you enjoy and thanks for your great work
are there any servers with the 1.11.2 version?
Hey razmen will you be able to become a werewolf hunter in the future?
I do not think there are any servers.
Is this mod still alive? I liked it back a long time ago, but it looks dead.
he's probably giving work to this, but honestly, its fine if he is taking a long break, I really like what he has done so far :/
Im a modeller and I would like to help you with this mod if possible please message me

Hey I figured it out!! Here's the skin of my sona!!
- ayy lmao
A new and more awesome looking beast form model would be nice
why is no one here? just an idea not specifically asking.
is this compatible with vampirsm mod
url="http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/877105-more-explosives-mod/"]
On the last version of the mod, they removed the howl, idk why, but im sure theyll add it next time on the skills menu
I don't know why? And that other question, I don't know, either. I'm not the mod developer
Razmen, when you say structures in upcoming features, does that refer to the werewolf traders with their cabins that were in version 1.1.1?
Please respond if it is convenient for you.
maybe you could add a hybrid of a vampire and a werewolf like seen in the underworld series?
