Link Removed for the new beta, tell us what else is missing, as far as we are aware now its pretty much just crafting recipes and other basic problems, most of the hard work is done and so that means about 90%-95% of the mod is completed for release.
I'm not sure if this may be planned, but if it isn't, there should be an NPC the sells treasure maps for the dimension structures, just as another method of finding structures if you get unlucky exploring.
We'll keep it in mind. It's a very good idea, along with the other stuff we have planned.
Since the Overgrown Merchant talks about a myth that there is still an enchanted forest in Corba, maybe there could be a rare "dying forest" biome which is still enchanted, but slowly losing what little liveliness remains. It could have some unique, passive mobs, and regular Corba mobs. The passive mobs and hostile mob could be aggressive towards each other.
This is pretty late, but Slayer hasn't been in contact with me for a while so not a lot has been done lately and I have no idea where he is or if he plans on doing more work, but here's the snapshot for 1.0.4:

That's not supposed to happen. It's either an id conflict or the way journey into the light manages its spawns. As far as I know, jitl mobs spawn based on biome types and not specific biomes, so idk if maybe Cloudia and the Haven are similar enough for sky eels to appear in both.

Code recipes have been removed due to the use of jsons now
that is a lie. In 1.12.2 still usable using GameRegistry.addRecipe(). Also will always exist in code whether or not it's private mapp/method is another story.
In-code registration of recipes is being phased out, and is done entirely with JSON in 1.14. This is because it allows data packs to modify recipes. This allows users and modpack makers to tweak their creation to perfection. Conditional recipes are possible with custom IRecipe implementations too, so there are now very, very few use-cases for in-code registration. The only use-case that I can think of is adding recipes based on capabilities/similar data to non-explicitly support any and all installed mods.
It's not a lie. If it was a lie we wouldn't waste our time redoing recipes for no reason.
Even if that was the case, it'd be better to use json since it'd allow people to tweak recipes.
Also, using and building more on a system that is outdated and could have support completely dropped at any point sounds like a bad idea.
I might occasionally do a couple (not all of them). Would I just have to create a pull request?
