I have good news for you. It is already possible.
Make sure you are using the updated version from the post. The item is called the Dismissal Stone. It is made by putting a diamond into a Celestial Furnace. It is a standard item that does not have any durability and will stay on you in your inventory. I may add a damage counter to it in the future just for immersion sake. Simply take the item and right click on your spirit with it and it will dismiss the spirit for you.
The next update is taking some time because I am trying to make configuration options for everything so players who may be using this mod stand-alone can turn on cheaper recipes as opposed to the expensive ones geared towards mass production of resources.
Can you have a more specific beginner guide on the mod? Like where to find the celestial ore, how to make or get spiritual essence. Its very confusing for me since I play survival.
Keep up the mod! I've been waiting for someone to make a fairy tail related mod especially celestial magic.
What I would wish to happen is maybe more lifelike/smarter spirit movement and a model closer to what they look like in the anime, for example Aquarius has her mermaid form and Gemini are smaller. Love this mod so much can't wait till you develop it further.

New Update Coming Soon - it has been taking longer because I am essentially adding configurations to a bunch of parts in addition to new features all at the same time lol. But here is a sneak peak
ive noticed that your mobs dont respect the minecraft audio system as in the hostile creatures bar doesnt turn their sounds down only the master volume does and was wondering if this is on purpose or something that could be set as a todo for later. They can be extreamly loud and makes you turn down all game sounds instead of just hostile mobs

Version 1.0.5 - Celestial Gifts Update Part 1
Features:
- Celestial Spirits will grant you rewards if you have used them over a period of time. Currently, Aries, Leo, Aquarius, and Taurus will give you gifts. Remaining spirits will have gifts added in future updates. There will be 4 new gifts per update. In two more updates all 12 spirits will grant gifts.
- Configuration Overhaul - in an effort to make this mod more standalone friendly, certain items now have "cheap recipe" modes that can be activated via the configs.
Bug Fixes:
- The dreaded Shift-Click and items disappear from Celestial Forge has been fixed. (Pay attention to your slot numbers Hale!)
- Custom Mobs should now respect the sound settings.
I have a couple of suggestions, maybe the gifts from the spirits should still cost xp. Also my friend tested killing one of my celestial spirits and I tried to re summon it with a new key even and it didn't work, it just said they were summoned still. You should make the spirits un-killable but their health is the xp so that doesn't happen. Also what is the issue going on with Sagittarius model? I tried to look for a skin online and sadly couldn't find one. Also guide-api mod may be a good way for you to create a guide book on telling players how to use this mod, it can get a bit tricky to figure out. I love seeing how it's progressing so far though! I just checked out the celestial dimension and it looks so nice my only issue if I had any is maybe the celestial stone texture can blend a bit better together when it generates, other then that it's perfect! I like that you have to wear certain armor to even go to the dimension.
Edit: Also I have a few songs if you could possible add them to the mod if it's no trouble at all please and thank you D:

The problem with the Sagi model is that it is just far too complex to get working properly. He actually has the horse mask which is several different pieces and they seem to act independently.....on top of his head. And that causes all kinds of weird issues. So he needs a new model, or alternatively a good skin so I don't have to give him a custom model. But as you said, I too have searched far and wide for a good Sagi skin and can't find one anywhere.
With respect to your issue relating to the killing of the spirit. Can you tell me exactly how this was reproduced? Were you in creative mode by chance? I ask this, because this mod is live on my official server and has been tested significantly, specifically to avoid that issue and it has never been reported, and I myself who use the mod have never had that occur. Once the spirit dies it gets unregistered, and this has been true in all cases since when they first came out. So if you can tell me how to reproduce that and exactly what conditions it was under that may help.
Hmm well if I find a sagi skin ill let you know right away i switched to creative at one point when it happened so that could of been it. Once i'm back on mc later ill try to reproduce this issue.

Yes this is my first mod lol so things take some time to get done as it is a learning experience for me as well. I do plan to possibly add in Ophiuchus later on in development, it's been suggested a number of times lol.

Celestial Craft has been updated to version 1.0.6! Here is the list of changes, features, and additions!
Added:
- Libra's Balance - utilizes Libra's power to slow all entities around you and speed you up.
- Scorpio's Venom - utilizes Scorpio's power to poison all surrounding entities and inflict weakness on them.
- Pisces Emblem - give infinite water-breathing while in inventory. Upon usage will grant Resistance and Night Vision, Haste, Resistance. All buffs are beyond the strength level of potions and calculate the amount of time you charged the emblem to apply it to each effect.
- Sword of the Gemini - A one-of-a-kind weapon added to Celestial Craft. It features the ability to alter its form with right-click. This means that you cannot block with the Sword of the Gemini.
- Yang Form - is used for support while equipped. The Yang form of the blade applies weakness and resistance to the player while equipped however procs a chance to heal the player on hit for a flat amount of life.
- Yin Form - is used for raw power while equipped. The Yin form of the blade applies strength and hunger to the player while equipped however procs a chance to wither the enemy on hit.

- Fixed a mis-configuration with the Cheap Recipe version of the Celestial Key-shaft
- Completely forgot to activate the BiomeID configuration code for the Celestial Dimension Biomes. Now you can assign ID numbers to the two Biomes in the Celestial Dimension to avoid conflicts with other mods.
Hey mate, I just want to say that you've done a fantastic job with creating this mod, and as such wanted to leave some feedback for it.
I feel that the rate in which a players experience is consumed is way too much for casual gameplay. What i would love to see is a config for players or server admins to decide on the rate in which their experience is consumed when summoning each spirit.
Another feature I wish was in this mod was for a config allowing the magic power to be temporarily consumed, as opposed to permanently consumed when a spirit is summoned. speaking as a fan of the anime, i think we can agree that a celestial wizard's magic power is not something that is consumed, but something that is constantly recharging.
I think Celestial Craft is a fantastic magic mod that has great potential, and I hope you find this constructive as I would love to use this more in the future, but at this time the amount of power required is just way too much.

I appreciate the feedback and this has been suggested to me in the past. It is something I have laid out but haven't activated yet. So stay tuned for that as it is likely to happen sooner rather than later.
Your second suggestion is quite interesting. Perhaps it may be a possibility in future development.

Also, I just spotted your modpack permissions page, and wanted to clear this with you. I am currently developing a private minecraft pack on the curse launcher for a server I want to publicly release in the coming months. I was wondering if I may ask your permission to include it in the pack?

Anyone is free to do Textures, if you want to try and Spahxify it or have someone you know that can Sphaxify it, feel free. A resourcepack has no bearing on the performance of the mod.
