WARNING: In version 1.2.5 new rendering system was introduced, for correct rendering of teleplates, you have to install CoFHCore or OpenModsLib. If you don't want to install it (or simply can't), you can always change your renderer version to 1 or 0 (in config file), which do not require CoFHCore or OpenModsLib.
Getting started
You can contiune reading, or you can watch this awesome spotlight by SCMowns:
Craft yourself some teleplates (default recipe):
Place it down:
Now, place another one somewhere else:
Now, depending on your configuration you may or may not need to power teleplates.
By default you don't have to, but here's example of powering teleplates with RF:
If your rf usage option (configurable) is 0, skip these steps.
If it is 1 (default), then energy is shared accross all your teleplates, meaning at least one must be powered.
If it is 2, each teleplate must be powered.
Attach cables from buttom of teleplate:
Charge it up!
Now stand on it, prepare yourself and look down to teleport:
(Stop looking down if you want to cancel teleportation).
After 5 seconds you will enter 5th dimension,
Teleplate selection gui will pop up:
If 2 teleplates have the same name, their coordinates will be shown next to name:
(You can force coordinates display in config)
Click on one where you wish to leave 5th dimension and press teleport button:
If teleplate is protected with password (more about protection later), you'll have to enter a password in order to be able to teleport:
Even more cool stuf
Portable
Allows you to enter 5th dimension from anywhere.
To enter 5th dimension from portable teleplate, hold right click and look down.
(You can be in motion while teleporting from portable teleplate)
Again, depending on your configuration, you may or may not need to power teleplates.
Here's example of how to power teleplates with RF:
If rf usage is 0, it does not require power.
If it is 1, it will drain power from network, network cannot be filled via portable teleplate.
If it is 2, it will drain power from itself, so it must be charged.
WARNING: If your configuration requires you to power teleplates with essentia, and it is in 2nd mode (do not share accross network), portable teleplates CAN NOT be used.
Movable
Teleplates can be moved by frames and other things from different mods.
You can teleport to teleplate even if it was moved.
Teleportable
Teleplates can be telported using ae2 pylons, blood magic teleposers and others.
You can teleport to teleplate even if it was teleported.
Other things consomable
Depending on config option, to transfer players, teleplates can consume different things in different ways. They can consume multiple things at once.
Currently, teleplates can consume:
RF
Fluids
Essentia (If Thaumcraft is installed)
LP (If Blood Magic is installed)
????????
Configurable
Teleplate can be configured when right clicked with paper and removed with stick.
You can change their name, as well as access type.
Depending on access type, different people will be able to leave 5th dimension here.
Always, only owner can change teleplate's settings.
Private: only owner (you).
Public: anybody.
Protected: Depending on protection mode, password, white list or black list, different people can leave from this teleplate.
Protected mode WARNING: Being owner does not mean that you can automatically teleport to teleplate. You still have to know password, add yourself in whitelist or remove from black list, if you want to teleport to this teleplate.
Password settings:
Type password in text box.
Black/white list settings:
Type player name in text box, and hit "Add" to add player.
To remover player, find his name in the list and click it holding ctrl.
When you are done, press "Confirm button".
Network system
Complicated player based system that links teleplates, shares rf and more...
Example of teleplates net with 2 players, 1 rf energy source, 5 teleplates and 1 shared teleplate:
Easter eggs!
You heard it right!
Right now, teleplates have 2 easter eggs that you have to find!
This is a great mod, but so far i have been unable produce the "moving" effect. I have tried moving it with Archimedes Ships Plus, and it for some reason takes random chunks of the ship off and then deletes them, without the player mounting them. The Teleplate and the random chunks of the ships are gone forever. Another thing, I use an Cauldron Server running Movecraft, a plugin that allows you to move ships and airships around, and i have added the Teleplates to their include blocks list, but then the ships with the Plates wont move half the time, and if it does move, the Ship Plate is removed from the list of Plates, but physically remains in-game, and is usable to get to other Plastes, but not back

Other than that great mod!!!
Thanks for bug reports!
First, i'll see what i have to do to make it compatible with archimedes ships.
Second, i'm not sure how i'll debug it with bukkit plugins.
Third, it should work with motion mods, how ever i don't know why it is not working with archimedes ships. How ever, i tested it with Redstone In Motion, Funky Locomotion and Project Red. In either case no code adaption was required...
It would be great if this could have integration with Thaumcraft, running off vis or essentia instead of RF; it doesn't look inherently technological, so would be just as great to use in a magic world as a tech world.

Sorry for the delayed response. I feel vis would be better, as that's always just kind of "there" if you have a system of it going, a bit like RF. Probably Alienis or Iter vis would be most appropriate; the former relating to the End, the latter relating to travel.

I don't know all of thaumcraft, but i don't think you can get alienis or iter in vis form (actually you can, if you find an ultra rare node that has non basic aspects, but it's ultra rare)...

Does the block have a animation when teleporting the player, like the vortex in it spinning around?
Hello!
I wanted to keep it as surprise, but it has some fancy dynamic rendering depending on how far you are from it and what you are doing...
So, yes - you spin around when you enter a hole... And not only spin...
