We'll see about End mobs, I actually have a slew of models for them already, just like with The Nether.
I might have to think about the final release date. In 1.8 they changed so much... And then 1.9 added the dual wielding so that'll be fun reprogramming my weapons. Not even sure if the methods and classes have been completely decompiled for those versions. Ugh. X_X
Do you have any tips for getting past the basics in programming (loops, conditionals, etc.)? I've recently been learning C++ and mastered that stuff, yet I can't seem to get any further. Any input would be greatly appreciated (And I fully understand C++ is more complex than Java, which is your expertise. Therefore, you may not be able to help. I just thought I would ask just in case.)

Hah!- I'm actually using and learning C Sharp right now! xD (Was planning on making a Terraria Mod)
Although that itself is very different from C++ and closer to that of Java, I guess I could teach you what I know. Keep in mind I've only used those two so far, so I may be wrong. But this is basically how a conditional statement works in all code, for all I've seen:
In Java, you'd do an 'if()' statement in method, just like C Sharp (Which is below, sorry I only have Visual Studio on my new PC rn xD):
You'd encapsulate it with curly brackets, as usual, with the result you want to have for that statement underneath. Right here I'm asking if the player selected is the user, and then making sure the item time is larger than one. I'm then adding a 'sub-condition' underneath, asking if the statement chose the number zero out of five. If it was zero, I'm spawning Platinum coins in groups of three. I'm also asking if the player's use time for the item is larger than one hundred, and if so, I set it back to zero to be used again.
I'll show you more in a sec, gotta make sure Microsoft Edge doesn't freeze. xD
This is how a 'for' loop would work, I personally use them more than 'while' loops:
They are actually conditions themselves, here's an example of me using one in code:
Basically, again, I'm asking if the player I'm effecting is the user. Before you use the 'for loop', initialize a integer variable called 'i'. This'll give you a numerical value of about zero at default. Then go to the for loop. As seen in the diagram above, state your initial value (which you probably always want to keep set to zero), and then give it a condition. Based on how many mobs / items / things you want spawned, place in the value to check if the number is greater than 'i'. For the increments, always add, which is represented by the 'i++'. Loop done. Once I use this item, it will spawn 10 coin portals at the player's cursor.
Funny how you're learning C#. Thanks for the in-depth things on loops and conditionals! Just to check, a for loop is essentially a while loop like this:
int countdown = 5;
while(countdown >= 1) {
System.out.print(countdown);
countdown -= 1 //Or countdown++
}
except simplified where all the arguments in the loop are the variable initialization, condition, and operation done to the variable?
(I know I'm learning C++, I just used Java examples since you would understand them )

Oh. The code I put above is actually (sorta?) the opposite, where it's counting up over time. You can still modify the for loop to decrement though, I just haven't done that much myself.
EDIT: Nvm, my head is clogged up today. Yeah, it works just like a while loop. :3

It seems the poll is tied between 1.7.10 and 1.10, and I honestly don't know which I should update to. If I update again to 1.7, I'll be procrastinating the development of 1.10 more and more. 1.10 requires an entire rewrite, so that would mean next update would take months, since I'm the only coder on my team. It's up to you guys and girls though, do you want me to update to an older version- or do you want me to erase all my code and rewrite it in order to get into 1.10?
When I get home I'm just gonna load up the current Nature's Revenge with the forge 1.10 library to see the changes, you all wish me luck!
Maybe rework the mod if you update to 1.10? As in change the name and the mechanics to fit the mechanics of 1.10? Or simply 1.7.10 which would be easiest.

That's a good idea! Personally.... I think I should be moving forward, not standing still. It's about time for me to do my first MC update, so this'll be new.

Is there a config that I'm missing? I can't find one anywhere and there are some settings I'd like to tweak before adding this mod to my world. If there isn't one, though, are you planning on adding one?

I was planning to add that in through an update.
Sadly though, I am in the process of remaking this mod from scratch, and the 1.7.10 version will be discontinued at least for the time being.
If you are, however, talking about the meteor event, a shield is craftable, although you need materials from an already-fallen meteorite. Your best bet, if you have cheats enabled, is to go into creative and get a vethian array to place down from my custom tab. If not, set up a temporary base and wait for the meteors to fall towards night time.

Thanks for the quick reply!
All is well for the meteor event, I remembered it being catastrophic when I used to play this mod and I now have a very flammable Witchery grove to protect xD, but I haven't had one fall yet. I decided that if I run into any trouble it'll only add to the experience, and I'll craft the array as you intended.
This mod is awesome! I'm glad to see you progressing with it and I hope you don't have too much trouble updating it, thanks!

Ah, much appreciated! Always good to see old faces again!
While this version will not be updated, the brand new news is that I am in the midst of creating a 'Remastered / Recoding' of Nature's Revenge for 1.11 and 1.12. Very, very different I tell you. If you want to stay updated, you could even join my Message Board if you wanted.

Ho ho!
Well that's some excellent news you got there good sir! since i just updated to 1.11 yesterday i can tell you that i'm very hyped and interested in the mod!
and i have a little question if you don't mind. so when you update it to 1.11/1.12 will there be any updates and addons to the previous version? well granted i wouldn't know that since the last version of the mod i played was 1.2 and i moved to minecraft 1.10 a while after. but still i'm interested to know. also...yes i would like to join that message board......................but as stupid and as unprofessional for me to say this....but since i barely use any social media and english isn't my first language....i have no idea what a message board is XD

Well, that goes for everybody on here too. Ya want to learn code? There. Just showed ya guys some inner workings. ;P
Btw, reset the biome poll for multiple choices, be sure to cast your votes back in.

News guys, I'm halting the development of this update.
I was hoping to get my computer back sooner than I did, but even when I do I'll have to move my java eclipse and mod code over.
As well, I need a while to recover from a horrific incident that happened to me and some of my friends who work on the mod.
Until then, have a good day guys, I love you all!
-Arrowstorm606
Sad to see the mod being halted. I hope that the incident wasn't too horrible, though!
THIS LOOKS AMAZING.
