With all the trouble on top of trouble it takes to obtain, feed, and raise a dragon why would you guys want the developers to slap on a stamina bar? The animal already needs to be fed. Often. Or it could stop listening and possibly turn on you. Imagine that happening while you're riding the bloody thing a hundred meters up. Wonder if an aggro dragon will bother chasing you to the splatter zone after it throws you off its back. A stamina bar will just be Another restriction. Nor am I a fan of having to feed the beast Even More to keep it in the air.
Further more every new feature you want the developers to add is just another set back if they decide to use it. The core release isn't even out yet, but they should add this or they should add that or do it this way or that way. I'm trying to hold back some until the core download is released. And NO, I am absolutely NOT telling any of you to "stick a cork in it" and to stop sharing ideas and debating, I'm just saying that the more you want them to add, if they decide to go with it, the farther it could push back the release date. I say lets see what it's like before saying that they should change things. We're so use to waiting and speculating that we sometimes convince ourselves that we know what gameplay will be like, but we really don't at all.
Sorry, tired and hyper are never a good combination.

Actually when I was reading the comment aloud to myself it was in a rather subdued tone. I sincierly meant it when I said, "And NO, I am absolutely NOT telling any of you to "stick a cork in it" and to stop sharing ideas and debating,"" It wasn't anger or shouting, it was a very strong emphases. The same goes for all other instances in which italics or Caps were used.
So no, I did not "blow a fuse". I'm just making that clear to anyone who may have thought otherwise. There was no anger or jumping around and pointing in that post.
Forgive me for laughing at this, but I can relate oh so well XD
But yeah... a stamina bar would be cool, but I do agree, there are already too many restrictions. If the feeding system or something else wasn't in place, then I'd probably be an advocate, but with it being implemented already, I think a stamina bar would be a bit too much.
Can't remember if this has been asked, but will we have some kind of auto-feeder like in F/A? Because if you end up with multiple dragons, keeping track of their food could be a bit of a nightmare o.o

Seeing as this is a fantasy mod, maybe there could be a new NPC in villages that you can pay to feed your dragon. That way,it would fit the theme a bit more.

yes, now the hard part would be to get the villager to where ever you want your dragons kept. but i definitely think this is a cool idea for feeding them.

Hunger and stamina are the same thing, similar to the player in vanilla minecraft. Your food bar goes down over time. However we wont really be doing such a thing, especially considering all the possible issues that could arise.
Maybe I'm missing something here ^ , but did you actually read the post your quoting? The first sentence is kind of a give away that, well, it wasn't "directed at any one person". Yet you seem to be taking a fairly calm and somewhat apologetic post personally.

In the wise words of the late Elvis Presley, "Thank you very much."
You basically want the dragons to have a stamina system, that goes down faster when they fly
None of this is directed at any one person.

Same with me, bro. XD

If its okay to share ideas, wouldn't that just push back the release date?
((ignore this))
Guess I shouldn't post anymore ideas here
I was just being general, sorry if it bothered you.

Not at all, I find it humorous!

Well, I was just wondering: have you made any plans what sounds will you use for the dragons?
