good idea they can make something similar to the werewolf the Player becomes after 3 day a wendigo in the night and then he transforms every 5-10 nights how about that ?
and the other wendigos arent then attacking the player
Yeah, wendigos would become neutral to the player, though they'd still attack if provoked. Remember Until Dawn where Hannah (as a wendigo) attacks another one and they fight?

yeah maybe a Player (as wendigo) when they provokate a other wendigo the wendigo attack they until 3 hearts and then they let the wendigo Player alone maybe a Player can live in pack with wendigos (as wendigo)
I think the transformation via villager flesh is a good idea, and i think that if a player becomes one, they should have it uncontrolled at first, but completing quests for "the one who lurks in the abyss" (some sort of demon king) you can control it, and even transform at will, kind of like in witchery.

Maybe a Wendigo boss? Called the Makkapitew, it is the strongest of the Wendigo spirits, and true to lore, they should be weak to fire, taking double damage when on fire. However, dying to fire should spawn a Wendigo spirit that can possess the player or a villager, which then will eventually undergo a transformation.

The "lurks in the abyss" thing is probably a sea monster
One who lurks within the abyss
One who completes the title
One who breaks the title
As far as these three go, the use of "who" rather than "that" is significant.
I think these are likely unique individuals, and are most likely bosses. The one who breaks the title may a boss completely unrelated to Fire or Ice, or it could be a boss that uses both rather than just one. The one who completes the title is likely the counterpart to the undead king, and is fire themed.
I also feel like the one who lurks within the abyss is likely the kraken. It could be something more obscure, like Charybdis, but I doubt it.
Edit: On second thought, the idea of a mob using both elements for that particular hint doesn't make much sense. All I can really guess is that it's meant to subvert our expectations about the title's theme in some way, but a dual element boss doesn't really "break" the phrase "Ice and Fire". I'd say a third dragon, but that just feels wrong.

Not pushing just saying I am happy to learn this is the last mod I am happily waiting to update to 1.12 now. I am more than happy to wait but god that make me happy to know.
Is it just me, or are most of the mobs coming to the mod next transformation? Eat villager flesh, and you will turn into a windigo, get bitten by a vampire and you become one. And the new werewolf mob turns you into one if you are bitten by one. My one question, will you be able to control these transformation, or is it uncontrollable? Also, what is the estimated time of release?

I can assume that the player will be able to have full control when transformed into a Vampire of Werewolf. Wendigos, though, are way different than to two of them.
Rather than being turned into a monster by being bitten, the Wendigo is demonic spirit that possess humans who've consumed the flesh of another human, turning them into canniballistic monsters. So like other folks here have talked about, the player would probably die from eating cursed flesh, and then have a Wendigo spawn where they died.

Oh, BTW, the "one that makes your blood boil" was revealed to be a Testificate-like Vampire.
Also, the Cyclops, Stymphalian Bird, Sea Serpent, and Amphiptere got new models, and The Undead got an overhaul.

Yikes, I think so too.
I also honestly really hope they add a werewolf.
Nice work and thank you, Alex & Raptor I love your work!

cool now the Players can become a wendigo and a vampire
I really like the Nosferatu vibes I get from these vampires!
I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that the civilized vampires will be much stronger (if not comparable to a mini-boss) than the more primal ones.
Pabam!
will you doing updates for the 1.10 version or is it dropped?
That looks amazing. Can not wait to see it in the mod
He is posting previews on Discord Group
Oh cool!
It's dropped.
The animation and modelling of these creatures is very impressive.
